JITA Market Manipulation Experiment û Anyone interested?
This IPO will not be offered to the average EVE pilot but to only the super wealthy. It is AIMED strictly for the purpose of keeping 90% of EVEÆs wealth in the top 10% of its players.
Shares will be 10b ISK per share with a total of only 100 shares. This should be more then enough ISK to meet all goals.
Goals: 1.To create the largest IPO ever created. 2.To effectively manipulate the JITA market as needed. 3.To assist the wealthy to get more wealthy. 4.Provide a secondary market for ôInsider Tradingö information.
I do not want to get into the details in the threadà this thread is solely to determine if enough RICH people are interested in doing such a thing?

So... 1 trillion, eh ? As in, 3-4 day's worth of Jita trade volume ? Or, as in less than half of the value of goods on sell orders in Jita ? Pass.

Let's see. Someone trying to float a gigantic, unsecured IPO. And a very wealthy ! as the only one interested. Well dang, this ain't no scam at all! Business plans which amount to
1. Post a quick note on M&D 2. Hope to raise an eye-popping mountain of cash 3. ??? 4. Profit!
are always welcome. However, I'm not wealthy enough so I'll be taking a great, big, vast, endless pass on this as well.

Anyone seen the South Park episode with the underpants Gnomes? You statement reminded me of that. Here is the Underpants Gnomes Plan just incase:
Step #1 - Steal Underpants Step #2 - ???? Step #3 - Profit
Just thought of it while reading all this negetivity in this thread.
Enjoy, Loney
PS. I don't "hope" to do anything. I had an idea and wanted to see what everyone else thought. I could care less if people raise 1 Trillion isk (but of course would like to see it happen) to participate in a expirement with potential for greatness. |

Well, to be fair, it doesn't take much to use lemmings for manipulation leverage. I managed a 2% buy order increase totaling approx. 16 billion on ~5 items today using maybe 600M in capital at any one time.
And this is a fail day. Some days, just for fun, I throw the lemmings into a complete frenzy with just 200k worth of stuff.
Yes, I know. Waste of market orders and capital. Still, it's at least as much fun as roaming and ganking ratters so v v

No I will not participate.
I will though, use your manipulation, if you gonna try it, to get moar isk :)
1T is not enough, because it's not enough, and it's also time which is important. If you try manipulate an items to like 200%, armies of alts will start their journey to Jita. ----------------- Destiny is not a matter of chance. It is a matter of choice. Heh, The Terrorist is at least doing some people a favour. Main question is, what region is he going next so we can anticipate and take precautions.

And this too is part of standard Jita Price Manipulation 101. You get people to buy from sell orders at other hubs, truck stuff in, and... cancel your buys. They wind up working their butts off to move the inventory, .01 undercutting until they're blue in the face. Then you swoop in, buy it all cheaply, and re-price. For bonus points put up higher buys in the remote hubs and see if they'll truck it all back in preparation for the next cycle.
Well hell, maybe this can work. Not sure I'd want the guy who failed in the highly profitable cap ship market at the helm of the effort, but the idea has potential.

1. 1 trillion isn't the largest IPO ever 2. Many people try to manipulate the jita market, most fail 3. LOL thats just a horrible sentence 4. who is going to manage this secondary market?
The way you've set this up so far looks to me like you're simply out to get IPO money and leave.

Lol.. thanks for the support I guess? Not sure why people think CyberDyne R-D failed at the capships market? I guess haveing at 45-65% profit margin (not counting IPO's) and over a trillion in corporate assets is a failure to some... Meh, what do I konw!

I could be interested in a market manipulation cabal but some very simple math will tell you that one trillion is not enough to manipulate all of Jita. Hell, it's not even enough to buy up the stock sitting in Jita. It would have to have a much more narrow focus. Furthermore, unless this were very well planned and coordinated across the hubs (which would take a lot more than 1 person) this doesn't stand a chance.
Get some more trusted people involved in running it and a real business plan and I might be willing to buy a share or two but for now, no thanks.

Yeah, wtf.
You made 45-65% profit when the business was PRIVATE, but..
As soon as you used public fund you returned 2% per month and 11% total.
Well I think you amazing posting spamfest has ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED whatever reputation you had.

Read it more carefully! NOT COUNTING IPO's it clearly states! The latest IPO was also clearly defined as 11.4% over 5 months time.
Your last IPO started in Feb 08 was stated as 43% over 6 months, but you did 11% over 5 months.

You are mixing the numbers. 45-65% is CDRD's Standard profit, it has been since its start. CDRE's "IPO" Profit has been be 78% and 11.4% for the 2 times it ran. The Projected 43% did not meet it goals BUT YET still made profit, the 70 billion Isk investment was voted closed by the shareholders only after 78 billion in Profit, its that simple. |

78B profit. 7B profit
11% return.
It was voted closed as you held a gun to investors heads. Take your money back or hope to hell to maybe get a profit in some future.
