See, im smart! Such a rare quality in this game. I made 70 mill in 3 minutes today, how long it take u to mine that much? Don't try to dis me or my skills son. Perhaps the criminal flag time (15mins) could be adjusted depending on the security level of the system you committed the piracy in? Say, down to 5 minutes in a .4 region, for example. Maybe longer lock-on times for turrets depending on the security level of the region you're in would be a good idea as well. This could allow player pirates to get clear while travelling through, taking less damage, but would still discourage gate camping. And maybe an aggressive action, such as warp disruption or ECM, should only be counted if it succeeds. I'm not a pirate, and won't be... and don't agree with the whining that implies that pirates should be able to go anywhere and kill anything with impunity... but they are a part of the game, and I don't want to see them disappear entirely.
