One thing bugs me out, where did Kara Thrace get her new body from?
We know that Cylons do age as Adama commented in the previous episode that he knew Tigh when he had hair. Its pretty much a certainty that Kara is a Cylon as well so its likely that Kara is simply a younger version of either Ellan or Caperica.
The real question we should ask ourselves is how the hell did Karas old body end up on earth? Was that thing she flew into really a worm hole or is there a third power at work that recovered her body and dropped it, litterally, on earth? In the event of a third party, are they manipulating both the humans and cylons? Im inclined to believe that it is a third party at work as how else could it explain the "off the show room floor" viper that she flew when she came back.
Another question we should ask, is really where did the human form cylons come from? Did the robot cylons stumble upon earth between the wars and adapted that technology to fit their agenda or is it perhaps the other way around and the human cylons took over the robotic ones? There is a clear connection between the robotic cylons of the colonies and the human form cylons of earth but right now the question is what is that connection. -------------------------------- To borrow a phrase:

Aliens? Meh, who knows. Though as far the "where did they come from" that's a great question. It couldn't have been between the wars as they mentioned a few times that the nuking happened some 2,000 years ago- the first cylon war was only half a century previous.
Though the rest of your questions here seem to be what every other fan of BSG is currently pulling their hair out trying to come up with an answer. -Zyck |

I doubt aliens as well but we know from the Razor mini movie the concept of splinter groups in Cylon society is not new. Its entirely possible a rogue cylon ship, possibly populated by Ellan models, are pulling the strings.
yes the nuking did occur 2000 years ago but it appears trace amount of DNA are still in the remains found. If the robotic cylons came upon the ruins of the planet, found the ressurection tech and used the remains to make the human form cylon models it would certainly explain why the remains are geneticlly similar to the cylons. -------------------------------- To borrow a phrase:

I guess but that seems a bit far-fetched, and frankly would be very disappointing. Some of the other ideas about the whole cyclical creation/destruction/do-it-all-again is interesting, though I'm hoping it ends up being something with a bit more of a twist than that, or at least something not as obvious. |

Though I still don't think that was Earth, there was absolutely nothing recognisable, be it land mass from space or identifiable land marks.

Cheers, saved me searching for it
Can't believe it was 2 years ago now. I just wish it had been the final twist at the end. |

I remember hearing that Olmos told RDM that he would leave the show if aliens were ever introduced. Owing to lack of Eve-related content, signature removed. If you would like to discuss this, please mail [email protected] - Mitnal |

Also, n0ow betting that Kara is the final cylon. She ahs to be.
Reasoning; the problem with her reincarnating, AND the fact that she drew the temple pattern since she was a kid, with (cant spell his name)Heelo saying after; "well, they built that temple 400 years ago. Where did you get the diea to paint yours?" She musta been there/died in the temple, so was attracted to that image like the others were attracted to their deathspots.
However, that means Ellen can't be a cylon since Ellen didn;t know about the temple pattern thingy. |

Moore (the show's producer) already confirmed Ellen IS the fifth Cylon.
Now, it may just be TV show artistic license but if Kara's Viper had crashed there 2000 years ago there'd be nothing left to find. Certainly the Viper wreckage would not be strewn all over with barely a weed covering anything and Kara's body still in evidence in the ****pit. Sitting outside like that for 2000 years the body would long since have withered away to dust.
So, more likely, that has to be Kara crashed there from a few weeks (show time) earlier. The question then remains where did Kara come back from in a pristine Viper?

And still the bigger question remains: WTF is the 'entity' (for lack of a better term) that Balter and Caprica Six have been seeing all the time of each other? Will it ever be answered and how does it fit in. |
