how exactly is this stupid if you can already do this in the game(ie. clonewarping). try this.. go as far away from empire as you possibly can.. then pod yourself.. and see where you are. you just magically jumped 10000 light years in the blink of an eye. wow. and guess what... people do this every day! amazing isnt it. but a suggestion to put a worthless skill to use and allow people to avoid some of the drudgery of this game is stupid?

Until the cost of implants is reduced SIGNIFICANTLY, clone jumping is not a viable option for most people.

EVE needs to have a certain amount of risk involved or else it would be a drag to play, implants need to be high maintenance, that way if you loose them, it will cost you.
The thrill with EVE is that everything is PvP.
If you need to go somewhere fast use clonejump, it will cost you, but if its important
Another thing is, use BM's, if you take the time (like some of us have), you can get from north to souet, east to west, in a very little time frame, by only using BM's.
Here is a little market idea. people could actually seel their BM's for a high price of course.

I do feel there should be a slight chance when using Interbus (especially in 0.0) that you wake up in a clone (no chance as long as you stay in .9-1.0 slight (1 in 1000) in .5-.8 chance (1-100) in .4-.1 and bigger in 0.0 (1-50))
Interbus should be able to move peoble and equipment near instant for a fee with a chance of acidents this would make EVE even better then it is already IMHO
