Bear in mind, with ratting speed of kill is often more important. Certainly you can rat sanchas in an AF or even t1 cruiser, but it will take forever and will be one lag spike or stuck on a roid to kill you. And t1 BC's just are not that expensive, you can focus more on local than on transversal and the isk per hour goes WAYYYY up. The hurricane/harbinger are some of the best ratters and salvage boats ive ever found for the price. And If you want to be able to handle some minor pvp go with a HAC (the zealot and sacriledge are both excellent ratters even with pvp fit)

This, works just the same with a vexor. Problem is even with max drone skills you're only getting 230ish DPS so taking out larger spawns can take a while, but it does give you time to salvage.

It is vexor. I don't think that ANY other t1 cruiser can rat in 0.0 as effectively as this little monster.

Kill any frig spawns by sending your lights while approaching BS NPC's. When you hugged a BS and killed frigs, send your main drone team to the BS you are hugging and activate your guns. You'll melt it in a very short time.

Cheapest easiest way is a domi with drones use either sentries or heavies for rats. Keep ECM drones as well as a set of medium tech 2 and Warrior2's.
Put 2 Heavy neuts in the high slots. 1600 plate double armor reppers resists,
Drone Range augmentor and play with your mids as you want to go with your cap booster.
You'll kill and tank whatever rat you want. Any interceptor trying to hold you will be neuted and killed by your warriors if it it is dumb enough too hang around. ECM drones will allow you to escape anything else if your tanking too much during the BS spawn when reds come in. |

i really like this. cheap as hell. only thing is vex aint as mobile as the ishkur, so u will probably get caught on bubble camps. so use an alt to scout ahead. only thing i would do differently is stick 4 light neutron II's in the highs, mwd in mid, and use a buffer tank with maybe a small armor rep. |
