Goog day dear CCP.
I have one simple question. Do we ever will see Matari Dread with four guns? Do you plan to change situation with Dreads? Now i more seldom see Nglfar on the batllefield... Its bad i think. I realy dont understand why other DNs can fit all hight slot with 1 type of guns but Minmatar can't.
I would like to hear official opinion with minimum flood here. Thank you very much.

Agree I think it's a good idea to add 1 turret and 1 low slot for Naglfar. Allso remove louncher slots. |

Using both turret and missle bay giving Nalgfar a great disadvantage, as it takes the pilot twice longer to master the weapons, weapon uprade mod becomes less effective, while the ship already has its disadvantage in tanking. |

Well the verticle aspect of the ship is really appealing but i would like a 3rd turret or 3 turrets or 3 launchers to keep it similar to other matar ships.

remove missiles fom all our minmatar ships, and give us a extra turret for the ones who need it stiletto claw (crusdaer and claw are spitting images of each other, cept crusader has 4 turrets, AND for some reason is more agile and faster) muninn,,, maybe not another turret, but those two missile slots are useless for what the ship is meant to do Naglfar.. hurricane ... probably quite a few more

Rather than make the Nagalfar into a Generic Capship and taking away from what makes it minmatar, just make the current layout more attractive. Better damage bonuses, maybe another turret slot in addition to everything else, etc. |

it might be a better idea to change the bonuses to 7.5% ROF to missiles and projectiles and 5% bonus to shield boosting and armour repair effectiveness.
that will up the damage a little bit and give it some more tank while still have too few slots for a great tank.
that way it is still possible to both shield and armour tank it. you still need both missiles and projectiles and it still got a fubared slot layout in the true minmatar spirit

It's need another midslot to be truly minmatar, not enough cpu to shield tank, not enough lows to armor tank. idk something silly like that. |

I'm sick of all this negative talk. It is time to look at the positive points of the ship.
The Naglfar is an excellent ship. It is a rusty brown colour and has a vertical structure, giving it an interesting and... rustic... appearance. Thus, the ship can be partially embedded in a solid block of structural concrete and deposited on the planet of your choice. These points, combined with the following features: drone bay, jump-drive, master bedroom with WIR and ensuite, ensure that the Naglfar will be able to compete with the best five-star hotels and resorts for many years to come.
Make a booking now, and avoid disappointment. |

But seriously, 1 weapon type, a decision on whether it should be shield or armour tanked, and improve that DPS a bit too, that should help. |

Naglfar should stay true to it's purpose and design, but some adjustments so it actually can cope with the other three dreads would be nice. Mind you, if all ships in Eve were the same, it would be a pretty boring game, no? |

I agree with the OP. The Naglfar lacks as a dread. The only answer I can think of is to make it even more vertical. Perhaps a bonus of +7.5% to verticalness per level is in order? |

I endorse the above suggestion. I would expect such a bonus to make the ship thinner but higher as one attained levels. Furthermore I am going to go right ahead and suggest that the level cap of 5 be removed entirely so that pilots can mega-specialise in ultra-vertical dreadnaught operations. I feel this is the only way forward for the flagging naglfar.
I would also like to see the vagabond be re-made into a vertical design, such that it resembled a flying mace, obiovusly able to beat other ships around the ****pit.
Also, one of the tempests bonuses should be dropped and a new "10% to spinning speed" bonus applied. This would make the ship spin end on end; you would obviously nano it and fly directly in packed enemy formations, slicing and dicing them like a giant rusty shuriken. A new class of tug boat ships will be needed to retrieve tempests that got stuck in planets, moons, stations, and POSes. --- Not happy with something in EVE? An emo whine will doubtless help your cause. |

give the Nag a dps boost to both weapon systems, enough of a boost that fitting weapon mods on it will give it significantly more damage then the other dreads, also, boost its ability to tank, but not too much. Basically, the pilot should be able to choose between having a tank equal to that of other dreads, with less dps, or a tank less the that of other dreads, but with more dps. make it a wildcard. |
