Hi Can anyone tell me if the following is possible.
Run eve in windows mode - start main character then reduce to desktop, open eve again and then bring the alt character up then play both in windows mode. Anyone know if the can be done??

You can't be logged in to the same account but with two different characters. If you have a second account it might work though.

Running 2 character from a single account (1CD key) will not work. however, running in windowed mode and using 2 different accounts works. me and 2 RL friends do it all the time. since the 3 of us can't all be on at the same time all the time, we use eachothers accounts to pilot a indi and a mining ship =) only down side is is that when your running 2 clients at once they both must be in windowed mode and if you don't have a semi-high end system it will be un playable.
my system specs are:
1.4 ghz
512mb ram
Radeon 9800 (128mb)
win xp
running 2 clients runs fairly smooth (considering 2 clients are running).

It works and works pretty well. Every now and then I get some lock ups and memory leaks, but it works well. There is nothing like gang mining all by your lonesome :)

OK now you're gonna go make me buy 2nd copy.
This game rocks !!! Too bad i just wasted $50 on a crappy unplayable fantasy mmorpg <SHADOWBANE sucks STAY AWAY>
