Hi. Unless you know, there exists such things as hardeners for armor and shield. When you tank for PvP, you WILL have higher resistance against thermal/kinetic than against EM/explosive.

Sure but what does that do on the battlefield? It's not like your gonna turn your em hardner off if you see a thron coming your way
I do. Not much, but it helps to save some cap which in the end can determine the outcome...
