And let's not forget what comedy set-up's would make your day? Personnally i'd like to see 4 CNR's and a Nighthawk spamming FoF's, but then i'm caldari so thats a given..

I'll be shocked if anybody fields a faction bs. It would be cool to see somebody field 4 nightmares, but it will be pretty humiliating when their entire team is shut down by 1 sentinel.

Kayo doesnt play well with others. I think thats why i teamkilled him. Calistai Huranu, give me a setup with electronic warefare ecm/damp/cap that uses damage using caldari, shouldnt be hard ;-)

Calistai Huranu, give me a setup with electronic warefare ecm/damp/cap that uses damage using caldari, shouldnt be hard ;-) Thats always gonna be the crux of it tbh, tho the caldari EW ships available, most have paperthin armour and are just a tad crap on dps, so it's always gonna have to be a trade off between ewar ships, and the others in any semi-viable set-up. Also the arena size and potential distances between teams in said arena, as if we look at it the kitsune tho only a frig locks pretty damned fast which may allow for at least a fair few early ew locked ships,tho not for long, BB's being next, tho as cruiser's go, there paper and have no drones and negligeable dps, and will most likely die fast, tho that being said if you had enough distance between yourself and your opponent's, 4-5 with skills could feasibly take out a team from 150km, which would still leave you with points to spank on your own dps ships, but that's just theory and hoping to hell your distance is good and your opponents faster lock's isn't. Essentially its a lot of if's and buts, we all know every aspect of EW/damp/cap etc will be tried in some form or another, that's a given, and some will work better than other's. my personnal choice if i had to, and i know it'll be picked apart or called daft and holes galore found in it would probably be as follows: 2x kitsune essentially early EW due to fast locks, you really ain't expecting them to live long. 4x celestis damps thus reducing effective range and dictating range to a certain degree. 3x abaddon as essentially the main dps boats. Not a great set-up but certainly viable and bar the frigs all have drones to play with, but then i'm just theorycrafting here so who knows what we can expect to see, i'm sure there's team's out there who've put a great deal of thought into what there using and how there going to utilise what they've got to play with. And that above set up i know against anything else built for close range will get rinsed in short order by a higher dps close range group, but there you go. It should be an interesting tourny, and i for one am looking forward to seeing what people field on any given day. As for a pure Caldari set-up, lets just not go there, they'd win by there opponents laughing themselves to death.
