Some of our members have been playing Eve since the first week Eve went live in 2003. Universalis Imperium was founded in early 2004. All through this time, UVIM and itÆs players have persevered, adapting with the changes, from Alliances (before the current alliance system), 0.0 space living, all the nerfs and expansions. Our CEO and directors have been together for many years, with a level of trust not found in other corporations. Before now, membership was by invitation only. Our goal was not to be the largest, simply one of the best and most importantly fun corporations in EvE. However, with the passing of time, we find ourselves getting ambitious again. We are new members of a 0.0 space alliance, small, growing, and ambitious. We seek new members with enthusiasm and energy to help us grow. You will be a vital part of building up our corportation and alliance. We seek all sorts of players, from those who have not had the paint dry off their rookie ship to grizzled old veterans who remember the day in Eve (rollback) that never was. The most important criteria is enthusiasm and reasonable level of activity. All of us have real lives outside of EvE. Our corporation has the following benefits: Access to nearly every T1 (320+) Blueprint original (except ships) in EvE, many nicely researched. If we donÆt have itÆs probably not worth having. Corporation HQ in Penirgman (Pen V, moon 3 û Ishukone Corporation Factory) located, close to Jita for itÆs market and Caldari / Amarr mission agents for those who wish to remain in Empire space. Access to 0.0 space, with the all the rewards and risks which go with it. For our PvP loving members, this is the place for you. When our area is quiet, you can always go and annoy the neighbors. Capital Ship pilots especially welcomed. Orca, for company organized mining ops. Note that our corporation is relaxed so you can have fun at your own pace. These ops are voluntary. Directors who know each other all in RL. This cannot be stressed enough. Corp theft is ALL to common in EvE. Nothing is more discouraging than to work hard with your corpmates for weeks to reach a goal, like a BS BPO or capital ship, only to have it stolen. This will not happen in UVIM. Directors available nearly anytime night or day. Very few of UVIM leadership work standard 8-5 jobs. While all are US based, at all times of the day you one of us may be online. Note that ore thieves, can flippers, suicide gankers, pirates, and corp thieves are not invited. We understand that all of the above is part of Eve, itÆs just not our style.

I would also like to mention that our corp is approximately 30% European time zone players, most quite active, so if your playing during European time zones, you won't be the only one online. We also run our main ops on weekends, when all the corp can usually join in.

Said that's all he wanted to do and indeed, he is a good miner. This was before UVIM joined a 0.0 PvP alliance. Well, it took awhile, but he finally joined us in 0.0 space and even started to train combat skills. Yesterday, he was KILLER OF THE DAY, with a solo victory. So, congrats to UVIM member Soldier!

Garion Thorongmor Universalis Imperium OWN Alliance	Posted - 2009.04.16 15:54:00 - [43] Well, it's been an exciting time since my last bump. Stargate Experiment 626 Alliance leader decided he did not like the way things were going and kicked out all but three corps. Of those three corps left, one promptly left themselves leaving 626 with like 40 members! Most of our old Alliance mates went off and formed a new alliance and we were invited but the corp membership by a close vote decided to join the Own allaince instead. We had to evacuate three large death star POS, along with dozens and dozens of member ships, tons of fuel, minerals, modules, rat loot, etc all in two days with only a Dreadnought and Carrier. We did it, and not a single UVIM member ship was lost and all are now up in empire. This took a lot of effort and teamwork and I am quiet proud of the corp. Now, we begin the effort to move into our new 0.0 home. This region offers MUCH better ratting, mining, and of course, more organized PvP. There are also many stations so we don't have to live out of a POS! Access from Empire to our new 0.0 region is through areas controlled and patrolled by your allies, all of which makes logistics much easier.

None in fact. However, we are at times online during those Timezones with several members. Other times, you might be the only one in our corp online. However, being in a decent sized alliance there are always alliance mates to do things with, from pocket defense to roams or worse, make isk by ratting. It really just depends on what is going on. This is to keep the gap between some of our new veteran players and recruits from getting too large. We are also wanting more BS pilots since some of our younger recruits can only Suicide Weasel until they get more Experience and SP. Players I have already talked to and today only will be grandfathered in if below 8 million.

RD has leadership and alliance mates you can trust to X up. With them, we carved out our own bit of 0.0 space until our old 626 alliance leader had an emotional meltdown and more or less disbanded the 626 alliance. We should have know not to trust an admitted Jita scammer! Currently we reside in prime 0.0 space, with the best mining (ABC and M ores) and deep 0.0 Drone Rats. There of course, plenty of PvP and all who join must be willing to X up.

NE are by no means noobs, since the core of their membership are players who have all been playing since 2003 and have been active all these years. They bring into our corp members who are VERY experienced in all aspects of Eve, from PvP, moon mining, logistics, and ship manufacturing. UVIM leadership and NE leadership have been corp mates and/or alliance mates in the past and know we will all work together to create one of the finest corps in Eve. I believe that when the merger is complete, UVIM membership will be well above 50.

This brings our membership to 55 when all are in. We are still very much wanting to increase our Euro and Asian TZ player base. You will be a bit lonely since we are a mainly US based corp, but as we grow, there will be more Euro and Asian TZ players. It just takes time and UVIM goal is to have well over a 100 members by end of this year. And this is not a crop with 75% of it's members being inactive, but the opposite, with 75% active members, rest second accounts, needed alts, and a few long term inactive who will probably come back. We had one of of our finest long term inactive members indeed re-activate yesterday, and that was a lot of fun.

This is because when BOL merge into us, all their carebear deaths, including several Jump Freighters, came with them, along with BPC being valued as BPO. So, our Kill Ratio is actually quit good for our PvP section, better than 2-1 before the merger and like 6-1 for ISK. We accept the tempory loss of our excellent kill ration to now have the ability to produce any ship in the game, and that includes all super caps.

Now that everything is settled our alliance and our corp are both going strong, with an improving Kill Board (our last campaign had a 66% success ratio) and having fun. Several veteran PvP corps have recently joined TnT, all of which have really made the overall situation a blast. So, we have began to active recruit again, and are now accepting players with low SP but can contribute to PvP as the mature and learn. This is an excellent opportunity for newer players or older players to PvP for the first time.

More than willing to move to 0.0 space. Currently fly T2 fit Rifters, and will be flying Interceptors in ~2 weeks. If needed I can branch off into Assault Frigates instead. Once there, most likely training towards a Typhoon. Account is 5 months old, but it was frozen for 3 of them, so I have 2 months of training under my belt.
