Last week we had a blog about chronicles coming out..and now we've got a blog - about blogs! Where will this all end?!

Gnulpie said "what interest is it if there are 11 teams and not 10 or 12?" It gives us an idea of what to expect. Let's assume at a bare minimum each team works on 1 major feature. That means with 11 teams we can expect 11 major features. Assuming one team is T3, one team are wormholes, one team are the new special effects, one team epic missions. That leaves 6 teams each working on at least 1 major feature for March.
I assume the reason they don't do 1: t3 ships 2: unstable wormholes 3: epic missions 4: ui Is because the extra teams must be working on major features that as of yet we don't know anything about. They don't want to spoil the surprise of the major features by posting a list of them all now.

I seem to recall that the UI part was not an actual group by itself.
So you got 3 so far. There's a number of other things. But some of them, at least those we saw, were not actually feature groups. But that's not to say we we will have 11 new features.

I don't want to join the haterz, but I have to say this blog was a disappointment.
I clicked with great expectations that the first long-awaited dev blog on the long-awaited Apocrypha would actually tell us something new about the ... you know ... features.
It is nifty to know that the Senior Producer is excited. We are, too. Been that way for awhile. Always am before a new expansion.
March is not so far away. It's time to learn what we're supposed to be getting excited about! |

I can't see too many of these occurring in all honesty. More likely is:
1. T3 Ships. 2. Wormholes. 3. Limited NPC AI Revisions (for wormhole systems only). 4. Limited UI improvements/overhauls - mainly to manufacturing 5. Branching Missions, Epic Mission Arcs 6. New Player Experience - probably quite extensive. 7. Client optimisation - 'need for speed'. 8. Graphical overhaul of some effects. 9. Possibly the EVE Cosmos (social networking) 10. Bug Squashing.
In bold is where the main emphasis will be.
