I figure some of these would've been floating around at least in the database, but why haven't they been seen in game? After all, everyone needs some type of spacer in their sigs to show it's not part of the post.

I believe some kind of low slot plating that reduces sig radius is in the database, but was never released in-game. |

If it is in the database then I'm not surprised. There is some pretty cool stuff hidden away in there that has never seen the light of implementation.
I'm not sure how easy it would be to balance such a module, though.

I'd settle for a 'racial overhaul' and class overhaul on base sig radius for all ships. You could address a lot of balance problems by messing with sig radius. Amarr battleships going up in sig, gal going down(help blasters exploit tracking advantage in close, while keeping amarr solidly tracking at range). ------------------ For Medicinal Use Only. |

Would be a good idea, perhaps a rig that does this

Well there is that point in a way.
So let's day Caldari are experts in shield and gallente in armor.
Shields raise your sig. (technical thing, it's a frigging forcefield). Armor doesn't affect sig. (it'a lump of metal, no bzz bzz action).
Caldari are shield experts, so one should think they know more stuff about those and perhaps have the ability to reduce sig radius caused by the shields.
Gallente know nothing about shields, but can make really strong armor that has some bonus in it. Dunno what, but anyways.
So with this it would be rather brainy to give the sig radius bonus to caldari (when it comes to shield caused sig radius). Of course would this unbalance the whole thing?
Perhaps the sig radius bonus should be applied on modules. For example: caldaru get a bonus for their shield modules (but nothing in MWD's). Gallente get a bonus in MWD modules. Then it goes a bit funky with amarr and matar...
I know the text is horrible, I'm at work and tired. |

A good idea, and one i was looking for at some point. Mean on inty's and af's |

They tried it a long time ago with stealth modules iirc, there were small medium and large variants that reduced sig radius significantly, they were mid slots I think, but they were ridiculously overpowered battleships with frigate sig radius, don't think it lasted too long on sisi. |

Shield extender raise sig. radius, armor plates increase mass. End of history. |

This is fine with me. Then give us Amarr less added mass to our ships when we add armor plates. 1600mm RT plate and maintaining velocity and agilty works for me.
There's also another way to reduce your signature radius, called "Don't activate your MWD" :P |

Ive always wondered which ships would benefit more from a halo set than a snake set. I mean with the gang link inties could have a tiny sig but aren't they always going to be better with a snake set? |
