Ok,
here's the deal. I was happily Sanctumin' away like a Boss the other day, thinking I was making nice and easy semi-afk ISK. Now to my horror I realised that my sec status has jumped to 2.1 - wtf CCP?
The gain from rats is way too high (why in the **** do I have to take a huge sec status hit when I rat in null anyway? Like there is CONCORD anywhere ffs), and the decrease from attacking someone in low is ridiculously small.
Is there a skill that would lower my sec status faster?
I've been suffering from high security status most of my EVE career, and I'm sure there are many others in the same situation. It's like low security status is the sole priviledge of suicide gankers and those who can shoot others in low 23/7. I get no benefits from shooting people in w-space, and the few fights I find in low per week don't help much. Nobody lingers around in their pods either.
It's ******* embarassing to fly around among decent people looking like a missioner, and nobody shoots me on gates.
I want to opt-out from the idiotic sec status gain disaster- let me shoot rats and keep the ISK, but don't touch my sec status. It's difficult enough to get it to normal numbers without this sort of extra crap.

I to suffer from this afflication. I am embarressed to say that my sec status is at 1.2! The only way i can fix this fast is to harvest carebear tears in hi sec like those miners! |

Well, exactly, I was in NULL! I would understand this if I was farming L4s in hisec, but in lawless space this is just bs.
As far as I understand, the Serpentis battleships were peacefully minding their own business, doing whatever happy battleships do when they hang out with their friends in Sanctums (= a holy site?) - until I came and ruined their day.
This breaks the lore, Serpentis is a sovereign corporation just like mine.
I believe CCP has introduced this mechanism to prevent me from ratting, forcing me to buy PLEX. Greed is good? |

This is well known for ages now. That's why so many high sec pussies are -6 one day and a few hours later after a clone jump and a few rat kills (1 bs per system untill blink, then restart).
Takes about 3 to 5 seconds to pass from +5 to -10 with enough alts and a some brains, takes a few hours from -10 to 0 SS, it's waaaaay to easy and just means grieffing has no real consequence.
"Thrasher" gank alts quickly biomass are a problem that CCP should take a look at and sooner than later.
Why not just make it so you have to buy rare and extremely expensive tags to get your SS back? -NPC Navy tags would be an excellent choice |

Go to highsec, get a battleship, fit smart bombs, find grouped hulks or macks...PROFIT!
And CCP institues a once -10, always -10 flag you can turn on that doesn't go up. Of course, you then become shoot on site and CONCORD should be chasing your ass since you are now a bad ass a Zor the Clown who always flies into highsec mission pockets. |

Right, another proof that CCP is only catering to the hisec crowd. Always the same crap, HTFU, why don't you just admit that you only want to force everybody to play the way YOU want. Not everybody likes the dirty crowds and bears, if I'm forced to go to hisec I'll just unsub my accounts.

Stop your crying. You're going to be able to repair your sec status with commander and officer tags in Inferno. Crimewatch/Wardec overhaul.

But 17 posts and still no CCP response?
I pay as much for my sub as hisec people, and as proven here in several posts, they get a nice red badge with just fraction of the grind I need to endure to get my sec status even on an acceptable level. How is this balanced?

Thats your first mistake, thinking everything should be balanced, what is this WOW? This is a sandbox, you choose to rat and increase your sec status, not CCP fault you killed the Rats. |

I may donate appropriate ammunition for a Disco Inferno if the OP needs such items, the party in Jita at the end of the month should enable a rapid return to the desired sec status.
