I am sure this subject has been approached before, but I would like to put forward a suggestion.
If you have 2 characters on 1 account, you can only train 1 chars skills at a time.
Heres my suggestion
for the 2 chars to train skills in tandem but at only 50% of their current speed ie
Char 1 (main) currently training at 2000 sp/hr
char2 (alt ) currently training at 1550 sp/hr( when active )
but with the 50% skill training option this would mean both chars training at
char 1 1000
alt 750 sp/hr
But also there would be a stipulation that the alt would have to have at least 75% of the learning skills of the main in order to qualify or all learning skills to 4.
Why am i bothering to write this.....well because i run 3 accounts and i have 6 empty slots that i could be used.
Any comments welcome!

ok fair point ....but im not thinking of closing accounts & transfering all to 1 account this idea could only be used for the creation of a new char/ alt on an existing account and in effect it would then become non transferable.
I dunno......it just seems pointlees to my why there is a facility there thats quite useless otherwise.

You propose half speed training of 2 characters on the same account. Congrats this already exists, simply go and train a skill on one character and then when its finished move to next and start skill there. Vola! You have trained these skills in the same amount of time as the system you proposed.

Exactly what I was about to point out. I'm not sure how your proposition improves anything.

Incorrect, you forgot to factor in the time to log off character number 1 and log character number 2.

In essence you are asking for a skill queue of 1 skill and on another character.
