This thread sucks, but if there's anything good going about why we can only move a maximum of 120,000m3 in courier, im in! :D |

I just made the same post in suggestion forum. Totally agree with OP, we need to have freighters to allow fitted ships in cargo |

Originally by: Kahega Amielden Battleships are supposed to be huge and hard to move around. That's why they're battleships. If battleships could be moved as easily as other ships, I demand +10K PG and CPU on my Wolf.
You do realize that you can transport 15 bs in a freighter? Packed that is of course. I would call that easy .. as long as you don't put rigs in them and can't even haul a single one ...

Originally by: Silvana Kor'ah Well, i dunno if it's "important", but it's nasty as you would need to destroy the rigs when you repackage, right? And i don't see a particular reason. You can haul fitted frigs, cruisers, battlecruisers ... just battleships exceed the max. size of contracts and haulers cargohold/shipbay. And as rigs are expensive (3 of some cost even more than the bs itself), you will most likely find rigs on bs when it comes to T1 vessel rigging. Makes sense ?
You should try the T2 rigs, they cost as much as my Golem. So no I won't be repackaging the ship. But I would like a way to move it without it costing 800 million isk.
If you have enough time to make that much money - then (1) you have a lot of time to play EVE and (2) you do not NEED to spend that time making even more money. Get in the freaking ship and fly the ^%$! thing to where you want to go, ffs, and stop crying like a little girl.

PROFIT!!!!11111
?
people are so smart!
1: The "I saw and bought a cheap rigged faction BS on contracts to make some ISK" scenario Buy shuttle, fly to battleship. Can't put shuttle in battleship cargohold cause i can't fly the battleship. Gallente BS lvl 3 missing ffs. profit ??? 0000
2: The "My friend has an empire war and wants me to haul his BS" scenario Friend contracts BS, i can't fly. Profit ???
3: The "I bought a nice shiny freighter to do courier jobs and get VERY rich" scenario WTF 120.000m¦ max ? profit ?
High-sec MUST take disadvantages compared to lowsec and 0.0 otherwise its not fair

You can find me in low sec or 0.0 in a falcon or pilgrim or a rapier, but I do like to play with bubbles so I don't know how well it will work out.

Sometimes crying like a little girl is fun, and productive, other times not so much, but I agree, that moving a rigged BS is a pain in the ass, If a freighter can haul more then a single general freight box, then why not a rigged BS, I was always unsure why you cant move assembled ships in haulers if the size fits, but meh, The Orca was intentionally kept too small for Fitted BS transport (im still not sure why you need it to hold that extra shuttle, cant you board the hulk from space and then scoop the shuttle up?)
