Add the following feature: Allow skills to be enqueued such that the next skill will automatically start training upon completion of the current skill being trained. An additional feature that goes well with this: If there is no skill being trained and the skill queue is empty, the server will begin training on the player's skill that requires the least time to completion

lol yes that would be a good idea, but that would ruin the experience of logging on to change a skill then log off _____________________________________

yeas true dat.. people could set up a queue of skills and not log on for months
maybe some kind of queue like thing tho that will start another skill, but it would train slower than normal until you log on to actually activate it.. that way if you forget when its suppose to end of have internet or pc difficulties.. you wont lose hours of training, you'll just train very slowly.. i dont know but im a little out of it at the moment ____________________________________________________________________ Need moons scanned for a corporation Starbase? so what if peoble dont log on for 2-3 months as long as they are paying whats the harm
anyway supposely Shiva will have skill training trough a web site this will help some atleast
even if it was simply limited to 2 skills (when this skill is done train that one) i would vote for it when you start training these 4-5 lvl skills they take so long that you forget when they will be done
Thank You Paw Sandberg
for all your BPC needs see http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=55706&page=1

kind of funny (more like stupid) how skill training works in this game.
either u can log in for 30 secs and train then quit or if u can queue later on u can just not log on and still improve in skills.
Imagine this in a MMORPG. U can become a master blacksmith w/o ever lifting a hammer.
I wouldnt mind if EVE re worked the whole skill system and decided to improve skills u only use. Hey maybe in part 2.

The one good thing about Eve's skill system is that casual players have a chance to progress.
Most other games where you do actions to obtain skills are a problem for the casual user. Someone that plays an hour/day doesn't have a chance against people that play 2 to 4 hours Mon-Friday plus 4+ sat/sund.

i agree, but i dont like the idea how a character developes whether u play or not, or that it sill increases whether u shoot or prcatice or just do nothing. While i to will like to have a queue, it will make things way to easier for a system where u dont got to do anything. So keep the queue out.

Both sides of the argument is valid. But I agree that Eve's system is still better than experience points like most fantasy games use. Although you get training done and have a uber character, nothing replaces actual EXPERIENCE to use that uber character properly. ______________________
