A friend of mine said something along the lines of "I can't wait to build myself a t3 Battleship", and it got me wondering. Will the new customizable t3 ships be a set general class size (BS components, BC components, Frig components), or will each component change your relative sig radius and sig resolution for full custom ship sizes?

I believe they are to be cruiser sized ships, at least initially.

Size does matter, although I hear bigger ships may cause trouble for the wormholes.

Yep...cruiser classes. Don't hold your breath for other classes. They may come someday but I'd bet a year at the least before you saw any other sizes.

I was under the impression that there'd be frigate, cruiser, and battleship-sized T3 ships. Seems like CCP could encourage more people to go out to gather the T3 resources if there were more variation in the sizes of the ships that could be made. I don't really keep up with dev blogs though  |

btw, are they talking stupidly high amounts of skill training to get these t3 ships.. i mean cruiser lvl 5 is a given... but then what? Will there be a never ending stream of lvl 5 skills I will have to train up? I mean I would like to get started on the secondary skills so that when these ships are out ill be able to get one at least within a couple months..
PS... is there a thread for that Q already?

Indeed. Once someone figures out the optimal t3 prober combination that scans long and hard with no deviation you will see them gushing out of every wormhole in the galaxy. |

And a lot of these wormholes will be untried and slipping a BS class or worse, a Capital class might rip something and the wormhole won't accept anything for awhile

quicker warp/less armour
bigger dps / less tank
5 modifications per ship 12500 possible combinations but no tech 3 ships in their own lets get that out of the way just rig like direct modificatiosn to existing ship classes t1 and t2 |

Who cares what size they are, I want to see what happens when people realise that:
a) They're too expensive for PvP
b) They're not listed on the overview in a useful manner, primarying FTW
