You know, the cynic in me says that this is going to fail before it even starts, but what the heck. I'm hoping that beyond the forum freaks that spend 90% of their time working ganking any nub that rears and 10% of their time in the game, there are those of you who play the game as real human beings.
Not that I should slam those who are affectionately known as "forum whor$s", cause they are enjoying the game as they see best. They do afterall, pay their fee's. And CCP did finally step to the plate to keep some semblance of control over the forums.
I have always chosen to semi-role play here in the forums and be a straight shooter. Post with what I hope is integrity, not just spin or BS. (attack as you will those who don't know me) And while I know that there are those out there who I've crossed, I've tried to lead EV as best as I know how. Honesty, hard work and trying to have fun while making your corp the best in the game.
That said, and while I kinda hate threads which promote players (they are so redundant) I'd like to give a shout out to all those who work their asses off to create and maintain serious corps in the game.
(I don't mean to be dismissive, but if you've got 25 members, this thread isn't for you. It's for all those who've spent massive hours playing and working to build big corps in the game. This isn't something someone playing for 3 months can truly appreciate unless they've played other games having devoted months upon months of commitment.)
I'd like to offer up a thread for those who work their asses off to keep their corps alive. Undoubtedly, this is going to be a short thread, but I encourage everyone to chime in and offer up thanks to those who have kicked a$$ and made their corps what they are today.
To that affect. I'd like to say thank you to Talitha, you have worked your a$$ of and I cheers to you! We have worked the game for all it's worth and I have loved playing it with ya. The same goes out to Hampstah.
God knows there are many others in the world I have enjoyed 9too many to list here), so cheers to you all, you know who you are.

I just want to say thanks to Raven DeBlade.
He really totally worked his butt of making Bladerunners to the kind of excellent corp it was, before he got unplugged from the matrix. We miss him dearly in Blades and we are eagerly awaiting his return. * -"You know, we play the "good guys" right? My thanks would have to go to Alustrious, she works damn hard to keep the implant market quite fluid.

Night Deeco 3names Deros CT Badirontree Kulath John Bischop
And a whole lot of others I can't all name here.
Some of these prolly don't like me a whole lot at the moment, but all of them where key in the corp I've spent a year of playing Eve in, non-stop. It may not be the largest corporation of Eve, nor the richest, nor the one most feared, but it has been one hell of a good corp to me.
And it is the oldest corporation of Eve, and always will be. _______________________________________________

I'd like to thank Badger and the Senior Executive Staff (both past and present) for all of their hard work throughout the year in addition to first Merlin and then Darkhawk for taking over the website work and creating the gem we have today.
We have come a long way within the last two years (it'll be 2 years on Sept 6th) and its looking good that we'll be here a while longer.
Regards, OK

Yes, Miso, it is quite true that those who frequent the forums also completely suck at Eve

RONA, Techell and m0o can all attest to the quality of his work, great examples of which can be found here. ____________________________________________
