This is the top 32 as they stand on my spreadsheet at the moment. This will be officially posted on Monday morning to the tournament site, and I will finalize the schedule based on this on Monday Evening or Tuesday Morning.
Please reply if you think there is a mistake, and your team should be ranked differently.

Yeah I know, I actually checked the impoc killmail earlier, ookke's only one I recognize as competing in this tourney and he was on the ATLAS team. |

Ugh losing so utterly in the first week really makes me sad inside.Ah well, better luck next year for IRC. :) Good job to the finals qualifiers and may the best team win. :)

I don't know why this was not noticed before but shouldn't both the Caldari Faction Warfare and Manifest Destiny teams have 125 pts from round 1? They both won their matches in under the 15min time limit, which if I understand the format correctly means that they get the full 100pts (ships killed + opponent's unused points) + 25%. Also if the Caldari team did get 29pts in round 2 (as according to Tyrrax Thorrk's thread) then they should have a total for both rounds of 154pts. This would put them into the finals and bump the Chain of Chaos team out. Of course I could be wrong... |

Caldari would have been through if they hadn't picked up a 10pt penalty for a rules infraction. Not sure about the other team.

Thanks, that explains it. The match reports on the forums and the YouTube video's don't mention the penalty to the Caldari team. I was kind of rooting for a Faction Warfare team to make it through.
The penalty for Manifest was mentioned on the match report by ISD Zachary Zain, just missed it I guess. |

It's The Impoc That Killed Mirial. It ought to be a museum piece like Linberg's aircraft, the Apollo Lander, etc. Hopefully the GHSC crew will have the sense to lock it in the hangar!

Yes, one of our guys forgot to rip out a faction implant (which ultimately did not help us at all) as we rolled out to round 1.
But it's all in category "should have, could have, would have". Hell, had we gotten a second domi down in match 2 it would have been enough but same goes for Goons.
Overall, we were the best faction war team, missing the finals by skin of our teeth despite the overall negativity towards FW. I'm sure we will be back next year.

I hate to nitpick, but I think Church have gained 250 and lost 34 (not 30).
First match we fielded 98 points and lost 2 kitsune, 1 griffin, 1 maulus. (16 pts)
Second match we fielded 98 points and lost 3 phantasm. (29 pts)

The 30 does not refer to how many points you lost, but the ranking of the team you last beat (PROBABLE CAUSE, #30).

Ahh makes sense, thanks for explaining. slightly wierd system though cos if we suicided some more ships in our 2nd match, Probable would have more points so WE would be ranked higher (because they would be ranked higher, doesn't matter though, knockout now).

no losses -> enemy's 0 point -> enemy lost position on rank list -> winners lost to !!!?

What you say is correct, and it has been pointed out a few times that the ranking order of the top teams could be improved a bit. We will take this stuff into account for next time, but the rankings system was decided upon prior to the tournament and as such is unfair to change mid-way through.

Seeding system spelled out.
Numbers assume higher ranked seeder goes through for easyer reading. If fi CoC beats RUR in 1st round CoC takes RUR's position from there on.
If matches are played in order given, survivors of consecutive matches play against each other in the next round.
1st elimination round. 16 battles; should take whole day Saturday.
1v32, 16v17, 8v25, 9v24, 4v29, 13v20, 5v28, 12v21,(one hour rest), 2v31, 15v18, 7v26, 10v23, 3v30, 14v19, 6v27, 11v22
2nd elimination round. 8 battles; should take afternoon session Sunday.
1v16, 8v9, 4v13, 5v12, 2v15, 7v10, 3v14, 6v11
7 battles to go from this point. A long Sunday evening looms.
1/4 finals
1v8, 4v5, 2v7, 3v6
semi finals
1v4, 2v3
and finals
1v2
personally I DON'T expect a RUR vs HUZZAH finale.

It looks like you made a mistake in Firmus Ixion's points. Even though the total, and hence the rank, is correct, the points for QR2 should be 43, not 39. |

Well picked up. 168 is indeed the correct score - there was an initial mistake in the total which I fixed up, but forgot to adjust the QR2 score. We had missed the stiletto kill in one of our score sheets. |

Agony didnt suffer losses in the second match, although we had one Ishkur pop after the match was called due to auto-agroing friendly drones.

Thanks - that I believe would put Amarr FW team onto 65, but it doesn't alter any ranks.
