freighters are great... but only for moving items. like most mining corp members we jet can mine witch is great except the back and forth so we decided to get an obelisk so it would take less trips. one prob they cannot access cargo in normal space. so i suggest they allow it to or at least put a warning in the description becuse now we are down 900 mill with little to show for it except lost profits. |

Get an Orca or (if in Low Sec) a Rorq.
Freighters being able to grab stuff in space other than freight containers negates cargo container-based piracy, killing one of the game's careers.

Yeah there should be a note in the description about that litle snafu. However why don't you just put it back on the market for a couple of million isk less than the lowest sell order? Should sell eventually and then you will only lose a few million instead of almoast a billion. Then you can take the isk and buy an orca.

i have already done that but still it would be nice to use the over 270 k instead of just the 50k or so the Orca provides

50k m3 on the Orca? Heh, try 141k m3 with max skills and t2 cargo rigs or about 130k with t1 rigs. Btw a freighter holds at the minimum 800k.

Not forgotten but its not really all that useful for hauling cargo unless its ammo or charges packed in an industrial ship.
