Minigin Caldari Trinity Corp	Posted - 2009.02.04 00:59:00 - [93] quite frankly, bar a 1 v 1 with a diemos, i have never seen ufa engage without at least 5 to 1 odds. they are also very reluctant to engage inside airaken without TBI support. to add to this ive been offered several 1 v 1s by members of theirs who think i wont accept telling me i have a "small pair" once i accept they quickley retract their offer saying "oh but you wont really fight so im not wasting my time coming one jump towards you" frankly i blame blob mentality. just because you are in a "big" alliance does not make you even remotely good, and i do not fear you for being in an alliance. . This may be your experience, but I think some peeps will differ with you. I took on MikeG in a fun very long 1v1 battle a few days ago, and even when it became 4v1 against me I stayed and died. I have no problem dying in a fight and would rather see it through then leave. if you check bwf right now... there is a 24 man gang camping the oij gate. barely 10 mins ago it was a 9 man gang that we where about to engage with a gang of 3. it would have been a great fight, but instead your guys ran away from the gate... called more than double their previous number and reblobbed after those numbers had arrived. its all well and good to say you stay and fight but when it comes down to it your alliance does not "stay and fight"

Uhhh TBI? Why would TBI engage you in Airaken, afaik they dont even have an open wardec against you nor Shuug? I can honestly say we've never brought TBI with us to engage you in EMpire, nor in 0.0, they tend to show up on their own =)

If the enemy is willing to engage 9 with a 3 man fleet, and you wait to engage when you have 30, then yes that is a blob. 10-1 Odds is definately blobbing, if you get ganked solo by a 10 man gang, you were just blobbed. However: if you are in a fleet of 50 then I say that an opposing gang of 65 or so is not a blob, but a proportionate gang. A blob is a blob, whether it's 10 or 200. Just depends on what they are fighting against.

I can honestly say we've never brought TBI with us to engage you in EMpire, nor in 0.0, they tend to show up on their own =) I nearly took that quote into the same context but let me clarify his words: He meant because TBI can't support you you are not eager to engage =P Also on the blob note, As an example of what Spaz said: Yesterday in BWF there wer 10 on the gate camping the regional gate (which any PvP alliance would know btw is nearly impossible now therefore the outgate should be camped instead but its UFA so..) and 3 of us were about to engage in 2 hac's and a BS when they were all in snipe hacs/2 others. They ran off as soon as more than one was in local and waited for a ginormous 30-40 man gang to jump in which we left at that time. If you had just fought us, maybe you would have killed us as still having more numbers or maybe our l33tness would have overcome you (<--likely outcome). Either way you didn't get the fight and therefore did not PvP but rather "Blobbed". k?
