9Bil Carebear Ark (Jump Freighter) Loss to Brutal Seizure pirate corp!

Kale Kold Caldari Brutal Seizure	Posted - 2009.02.03 12:26:00 - [1] Edited by: Kale Kold on 03/02/2009 12:36:22 On the 16th January 2009 members of Brutal Seizure Killed and looted an Ark jump freighter in Tannolen. While camping the Onatoh gate in Tannolen a gang member spotted a jump freighter on scan. Our CEO, Maulith warped to the gate to take a look and to his surprise found an Ark 20k off the gate slow boating towards it!!! We immediately acted as a tight knit unit and proceeded to lay the proverbial smack upon said ship. After an unsuccessful ransom attempt we popped the ship which then dropped over 5 BILLION in loot!!! During a well coordinted logistic operation to retrieve nearly 25k of Dysprosium and nearly 55k of Promethium we had to fight off a hurricane and and various frigates who were bent on destroying the wreck. We eventually got the lot and made over 5bil for the members involved. Que much dancing and singing!! It turns out the pilot of the Ark was AFK autopiloting, probably heading for Jita!
