Would it be possible to add a feature that turns off SFX? It gets a little annoying when trying to talk on audio and have to listen to rats lasers and missiles being fired ever ten seconds. I know I can zoom out and this eventually solves the problem but that sort of defeats the purpose of watching ships blow up. I have voice chat at 10 and everything else at 0 with master at .3. That works for the most part but it seems a waste when I would like to hear my ship telling my that I need to reload or whatever.
Thanks, UH |

That should be UI sound effects in the Esc menu inside the Audio tab.
i don't know IF the Strg+ALT+shift+E weapon effects or the Strg+ALT+SHIFT+T Turret effects
would also solve the Problem. I would give it a try.

Grek Forto - Master volume is at .3, I really can't turn it down much more.
Thanks Annatar, I will give that a shot. I pretty sure everything is at 0 put Voice and Master volume. I put in a help request to CCP in game and they told me to post about it as a feature request. |

I wish there were a way to turn off SFX alone also. Better sound options are needed.

I usually use Shift+CTRL+ALT+F12 to switch off sound effects when in fleet, and then press it again when I want the sound back on. This allows me to hear the voice chat, but also allows me to switch back and forth quickly when I need to.
I am not so concerned about the combat effects, but the noise of 50 people going through a jumpgate can be bloody annoying. |

Is there any way to turn off the in-station background sounds other than Ctrl-Shift-Alt-F12? |
