I've recently train Gallente Cruiser 5, and I'm considering the Phobos for fleet work in 0.0. After some brainstorming, I came up with this:
High: Warp Disruption Field Generator, 5x Small Nos II Mid: 10MN MWDII, Magnetometric ECCMII, 2x Med Cap Booster (200's) Low: 2x MARII, EANMII, DCII, Explosive Hardener II, 1600mm RRT plate Rigs: Trimark, Aux Nano Pump
As the ship will get shot at... alot... I decided that using guns would be a waste of energy when it just has to live long enough till the enemy is dead. As it can't rely on RR from fleetmates it obviously needs to rep itself. I got the idea of using the Nos on close range enemies (or friendlies if they agree to it) in order to take strain off the cap boosters.
Is this a viable setup or would I be better off with: 2x 1600plate, 2xEANM, Exp Hardener, DCII, 2x Trimark and simply wait till the end of a fight to receive RR?
Thanks.

If you're going to brick it, might aswell go devoter. And what's the idea behind the small rep? Why not just throw a DCII on?
Just my 2 cents of course. |

2 reasons for the Small rep.
1: I fly it far from home, and dont like to rely on remote reps on wingmen for repairs...
2: Its maxed out on CPU anyways and cant fit one, where the small repper only takes 6 cpu and PG. I could probably squeeze one on by using faction or best named for the EANM's and MWD. But then I'ld still be relying on remote reps. |

5 Dual 150mm rails / Warp field Gen 1 MWD or AB / 2 sensor boosters / medium electroch. 1600 RTP / 2 EANM / 1 EXP Hard / Medium Rep
2 Trimarks.
Not if you use a MWD you can only fit 4 dual 150mm and all mods are T2 and the mwd is the Y-T one.

Why sensor boosters?
You dont even need to lock a non-capital ship for a HIC to do its job? |

Two words:
LoW Sec
You need the sensor boosters to get points on stuff coming through gates before they warp off. Combine with some DPS and someone to web/scram them and you have an effective camp. -------------------- "I am hard pressed on my right; my centre is giving way; situation excellent; I am attacking." - Ferdinand Foch at the Battle of the Marne |

Versatile, adds some damage to gang ( drones where art thou? ) Incoming remote reps are extremely effective. Primary use has it standing still anyway so you might as well help the rest of the gang with the pwnage.
Does need a 1% CPU implant.
