...but some of the stuff the faction ships are dropping is a little suprising to say the least.
I've had several Electron blasters off the Raven ships on the Sabotage mission, for example.
The Megathrons on the equivalent Gallente mission were very bizarre though. One ship dropped a 1200mm artillery cannon, and both armour and shield tanking equipment. Another dropped an 800mm repeating artillery projectile gun.

Agent Kill Mission NPC's have often dropped non-race loot.......

And how about getting a named 100mn afterburner from a frig? And 1mn afterburners from ravens? That always happens to me, I am sure loot tables are bugged.

i've gotten a lif from a 2k ratspawn before. no mission. just cruising around...
there is a fine, but dissasterous line between a fart and a shart. i suggest you make sure which side you want to be on... |

Definately agreed. Taking on a 2 enforcer spawn with cruiser support, one dropped all medium loot, the other dropped a 10mn afterburner TECH1 and some nice named loot. Not to get off the topic, but how the hell can a Megathron with a 10mn ab do 600m/s across the belt? Carry on!!

Well, none of you are hurt as bad as us killing sansha I guess.
You won't believe the amount of 1mn abs, medium beam lasers and what not frigate stuff dropping from all 4 kinds of bships.

You won't believe the amount of 1mn abs, medium beam lasers and what not frigate stuff dropping from all 4 kinds of bships.

Ok, so the loot a ship drops isnt always what you expect... that does not neccesarily meen its illogical.
Lets say you kill a frigg and get a top notch 100MN MWD, yes I have gotten that on more than one ocation and as I feel Im not getting the short end of the stick Im not complaining.
Is the above however impossible?
No.
Naturally the frigg carried the module in its hold at the time of destruction, personally I often carry modules that I cant fit in a ship in my hold.
As for the small laser turret in the BS, I agree it feels sheity BUT probably that BS killed some unsuspecting sod a while back and hasnt had time to unload the loot yet... again well in acordance with what I often carry in my cargo hold in my BS.
Not fun loot but...
Actually I would love to see stuff like spirits, quafe, consumer electronics, so on and so forth to be dropped in small quantities from rats as it would add more flavor to the game :)

If every BS would drop BS modules only I could build myself a new BS from a few days of loot. THAT is why they drop crap loot most of the time, cause other wise it'd be sick.
And if you are complaining about the lower amount of rare loot, play at times when less people are online, you'll get better drops then. Named loot drops are limited, more people hunting: more people sharing. As a matter of fact: decrease named loot drops so they can be worth something, unlike now.
Lastly, amarr dropping projectiles does suck. Keep it racial plz ccp.

heh, then I'd rather they switched the medium beam laser for either a named version or a named expander or something. Not asking for more mins from loot - asking for a bit fairer loot distribution after killing 2-3 bs and only getting small guns.

yeah, those Sansha Lords always drop me medium Beam Lasers as well Beast Lords seem to drop the normal stuff though, like Dual Heavy Pulses and Mega Pulses...

Everyone seems equaly affected by the messed up loot tables.
Noone says that they should always drop named items, but are the BS`s for example supposed to drop BASIC (not even tech1) stuff?...1mn Afterburners etc
Seeing that 6mil rat drop basic reinforced bulkheads was kinda errr.... weird
