This means that a whole lot of Dysprosium moons are going to be a lot more poorly defended. Not to mention the internal BoB turmoil is going to disrupt any Dysprosium / other rare moon mineral production that they still manage to keep going.
Is the price going to spike again? ---------- Now recruiting:

Expect moon materials to spike. Especially R32 and R64. Motherships will sell at 20bil+ again in a month or so.
Boy, is this going to be fun .

I made a goof earlier in the week and bought a whole lot more ferrogel than I meant to, so one can only hope. :)

All of those production POS's (invention, production, moon minerals) going poof, not to mention all of the lost assests within the stations. The disruption of something that large that has been around for so long will definitely make a splash. |

They didn't lose the POSs or assets, (yet). Just their sovereignty due to corp theft/espionage. Their cynojammers are down, jump bridge network broken, cyno beacons off, cap ship arrays inoperable. They are crippled and vulnerable to attack, but the assets themselves are still there.

The POSes are still owned by the member corps, so no reason they'd go "poof", they only need to recreate the alliance and have them all rejoin. They can retake the outposts... eventually.
I guess. No ?

So was it "I forgot to pay the bills" or was it really "spy got into executor corp and disbanded alliance" ?

Director level spy in BNC and Tin Foil. BNC robbed blind (T2 BPO's?).
After downtime tomorrow sov drops in BoB systems. If the ex-BoB corps haven't made a new alliance by then yet, they are going to be under massive attack. In any case they will not have sov4 anymore.

Sorry, I had to stop and think about what I said. I meant 'reactionary' in the sense that "people are reacting to the perceived future shortage by buying all the moon goo they can." |

We won't see anything but very short-term effect on this, depending on how many people take it as an opportunity and raid the space.
Obviously speculation is going to amplify the effect quite a bit.

Yeah, the problem there is that without sov they lose their jammers and bridges. So X up for POS bashing, it's going to be hotdrop central in there starting soon. |

Lucky for you then that I pushed buy orders up to 53k and sells are currently 59k then.
Edit: Quoted wrong guy.

I think that the POS of the disbanded alliance are lost, all that was in the alliance hangars and wasn't stolen (locked BPO for example), all the stuff the director hasn't moved to his hangar/contracted to himself or alts.
No idea on how rich the executor alliance was, but it can mean the disappearance of several T2 BPo.

The fact of the matter is that BoB just lost all their organizational ability, and all their cynojammers. Everybody allied against BoB, and some people who were previously allied to BoB (looking at AAA), are going to pour into BoB space with dread fleets and start pounding.
BoB moon mining towers are going to start taking the beating of a lifetime, and BoB will be so busy worrying about everybody hitting their main systems that they won't be able to do anything about it. Smart call? Buy up all the ferrogel you can and watch it go sky high. |

Confirming that BoB no longer have anyway to defend their Dysprosium moons in deep 0.0.
Literally anyone can get one now, I already have 2 looking at getting a 3rd now.
Loosing sov means their 250 man capital blob is no longer effective. Also their stations controlled by ex-BoB alt holding corps can longer allow docking to their main's corps.
I predict ferrogel changing hands for real food in 3rd world countries by next Tuesday. |
