I love Red Dwarf too. However it was the context of this joke that was maybe misplaced. There are funnier and more appropriate scenes that could have been picked...

hehehe i can't believe some pirates are so incapable of taking a joke, especially a funny one :)
it is true that people effect a separate persona when RPing, and not the one for their character but out of character they do so as well. it is the worse in LARP (live action role play) but eve has a fair amount of it due its impersonal internet nature.
still that is what we play for :)
and while this community is a bunch of whiny adolescents and mentally adolescents who seem to think eve revolves around them your joke was still damn funny and it proves it when they start whining. you'll find that anything good tends to kick off rat-brat whining, I use it as a dousing rod.
Also no one cares about grammar and spelling here, other wise IĘd spell check before I post. Only lame people looking for some sort of insult when they canĘt come up with an adequate come back make comments on it.

oh and i wanted to add that it is not, in my opinion, an insult to be the Cat. I love the cat he makes that show and is really entertaining. So stuff you all who take offence to being compared to the Cat, you should be so lucky!!!

I said i was happy with the fact i could write everything correctly, i didnt say i did. Besides, its not as if it takes much intelligence to write things correcly, just need MS word installed and write ure posts in there before pasting them into here :P Im sure if u look back into some of my other posts youll see that my apostrophe key is working fine and as intended.

I said i was happy with the fact i could write everything correctly, i didnt say i did.
