I think giving freighters immunity to warp scramble could help protect them from suicide gankers in high sec, if anything it would give freighters a chance to warp to a station.

Edited to avoid profanity filter. Did you know being ******ed, the r word for mentally challenged is a bad word. I didn't.
"sigh" If it's a bad idea, just say so. Childish insults are not needed.

Originally by: Gaulian Fidelis Well it does make sense to have some form of protection against suicide ganking in high sec in my opinion since it's kind of ******ed to begin with to have security measures that don't work immediately and effectively enough to prevent the destruction of a freighter.
That's why I made the suggestion, for that very reason. But it seems that many would rather flame than give any constructive criticism. Oh well,I tried.

Originally by: Tatiana Corbescu Freighters would be virtually impossible to suicide gank in empire if the players controlling them took pains to protect them.
They dont need to become the sole exception to warp scramble/distruption (and if its a matter of mass they what becomes of dreads, carriers, moms and titans?)
That's a good point, and I'll accept it. What I was thinking when I made the post was for those players that is not in a corp and doesn't have the means to gather protection for it in high sec space.

Originally by: Onys Cissalc And to the op, just no. If it were a matter of mass, then by all means we should have ship-size relative warp scramblers and disruptors, so that you need a BS strength WS/WD to disrupt the warp of another BS, or the nerf the HELL out of a frigate sized target's warp drive.
But we don't, because that would cause very many issues; such as frigates losing their role as expendable tackling platforms.
That makes a lot of sense when you put it that way. Now that I think about it,the suggestion was a rather silly one to make.
