Brox alDragoran Caldari D.M.T inc Establishment	Posted - 2009.02.05 14:18:00 - [1] I am looking for anything on the forums by the man at the center of all this. Out of the blue he decideds to betray Bob after what seems to be a long spell of inactivity and no detailed reason is offerd. There is The Mittani's mp3 explaining what happend, yet Haargoth is not able to speak on it. I am suprised, why would someone who has done something like this be so quiet? Could you log on to the forums and give us an explanation or your side of the story. I expect i am not the only one who would like to hear it. ( If i am wrong about any of the details above please correct me so i can stop wasteing peoples time)

Not sure why he had suddenly discovered a new hatred for BoB which he evidently never had before. Kind of curious if you ask me. Someone is AFK for so long, comes back, doesn't leak a word of malcontent to the people he evidently dislikes enough to disband an Alliance of thousands of members, and then isn't vocal about it? Curious, IMO. You would think there would have been some drama llama coming to town long enough internally for BoB leadership to figure out this guy was a liability. I used to send my applicants who failed to get a 40, but got at least a 19 to the army, they sucked them up all the time. And yes, we're all in the same fight, which is why we're having this discussion. You're making everyone who's in the military look bad by trying to bring real world values into this. It's a game, I am a pirate here, you going to bring up honor courage and commitment to me because I pirate in EVE? Grow up.

The spy who turned on BOB responded to an attempt to rip him off (recruiting scam) by handing the guys trying to rip him off the keys to the castle. Very odd. ThatGÇÖs like saying to a mugger GÇ£Hey! I like you. Why donGÇÖt you come back to my place and **** my wife.GÇ¥ Regardless of how you feel about your wife, it's a wierd place to put you allegiance. When asked why, the response was something along the lines of GÇ£wanted to teach BoB a lesson, theyGÇÖre arrogant, etc.GÇ¥ One has to admit that is a bit arrogant in itself and betrays something of a troll mentality: maximum lols and chaos without much interest in one side or the other. IGÇÖm not sure how much of a GÇ£cultural victoryGÇ¥ youGÇÖve won when you turn/attract a guy like that but Kudos to Goons for capitalizing on the opportunity. IGÇÖm not pro or against BOB or Goons - been podded many times by both, but it does seem like a bizarre game mechanic was leveraged (by no means a cheat) to evaporate a lot of hard work by a lot of people. I think folks would feel the same way had this demise befallen the Goons - maybe not the hardcore BoB folks - but you get my point. BUT, the bottom line is: had BNC and the holding corp controlled its roles with some degree of caution, they would not have been vulnerable to this debacle. Hindsight is 20/20 thought and IGÇÖll bet a whole lot of holding corps/alliance roles just got trimmed down to 1 executor/administrator as they count their lucky stars while removing the "who'dats?" from their boards of directors.
