I know any other space MMO besides EVE is blasphemy, however I'd like to hear what SWG was like..
Dont just say "It sux eh, uber lame stupid expansion, it went downhill!!11!"
Plz say what is good about it (or was) followed by what's bad... |

It may not be up your ally, but Wizard 101 is pretty solid. Sure it's clearly obvious who's the target demographic, but it's still a fun game to play when you need a break from EvE. |

Good:
- it's Star Wars :)
- PvP is not forced like in EVE (though some would obviously say it's a minus)
- you can play a Jedi char
- very different planets
- you can fly in space (also jump between planets)
- various surface vehicles (swoops, landspeeders, skiff)
- sabers are configurable with crystals
- you can work for the Emperor/Vader/famous officers. Same goes for the Alliance ofc. you can also work for Jabba.
Bad:
- Kashyyyk jungle PvE area has the MOST ANNOYING background noise ever invented
- Jedi are weak
- PvE missions are nothing more than grind. Even more so than in EVE.
- some ridiculously hard PvE dungeons (like the Corvette or Death Watch Bunker)
- too many servers (though it could have been changed since I played)
- rancors, Kryat Dragon etc. that are supposed to be tough are a joke in SWG. You can take one down easily.
- (Dark) Jedi enemies don't wield lightsabers. How lame omfg.
- ****load of annoying bugs.
- constant farming of cool spots (no real random encounters or hidden spots to be discovered)
I personally liked the space part very much.
The Empire vs Alliance wars are uninteresting, played in a few but meh (PvP is about as uninteresting as in EVE. Sorry, I hate EVE PvP.). So why, one might ask? Because space fight PvP should be about dexterity IMHO, like in ELITE. I mean dogfights. But certainly not GATECAMPS. (I also hate the gated systems. It makes systems feel like "rooms".)

One could talk about it for a long time.
You can basically grind together any profession in maybe a day. Make it two at most. So basically no feeling of achievement there.
Can't wait for an SW game like EVE. OMFG, would be awesome.

SWG: Was good Now SUCKS
Age of Conan: Has potential but is still lacking if they could of finshed the game befor it hit stores it would be doing better right now tho theres still PVP balanceing lag/comp issues and class respcking to do dispte all that the combat UI and GFX are all good.
Guild Wars: lots of fun to be had lots of PVE content and a lot of nice people and good PVP gfx are avrage but not bad by any means and the story line is verry good
COV/COH: Is a good game but at times feals very grindy not a solo game mutch more fun if you team up a lot of play with a good SG PVP SUCKS ASS.
EVE Online ....
Auto Assualt: I was sad when they tanked this game it had all kinds of cool ****e.
Vanguard Saga of Heroes: Now run buy SOE(Burn in hell) would have been nice if they could of compleated the game and if SOE had been kept out a lot of people left shorty after release and it never relly recoved
PlanetSide: Was a good FPS with some good people playing it but its been a wile since I played it I heared SOE some how fethed this game up to also the gfx are looking a little dated nowdays.
WOW: lots of people and cartoony GFX
