know any realy good FREE or very very good pay mmorpg?
Please don't give me links to mmorpg directories, I saw them all. I need first hand experienced players who were in action with it.

There are none.
The few 'free' mmos that are any good have whatever is good in them ruined by the general scams that accompany all free mmos (they cost many times more than eve to play monthly unless you want to suck).
CoX is a good subscription mmo if you get on the right server (the one that has people playing on it, cant recall which). I would be playing that right now if not for eve.
Ofcourse EVE.
Thats it. All the good mmos of the past are either dead (rare), ruined by expansions/updates/changes (common), or permanently tucked away in an inaccessible corner of the internet only populated by a small diehard collection of players and utterly impossible for a newbie to start out in.
New mmos are pretty much suck. |

I'm sorry, I was unable to read the topic and your post due to the (over)use of odd asci chars. I'm sure you had a legitimate reason to use them but when I see 'hey look at meeeeehhhh" attention stuff like that the part of my brain that actually wants to read posts shuts down.

Achaea is a good mmorpg, it's text only though. I played it for like 2 years, a bit more in fact in highschool. The problem is, that when you reach somewhere between level 65-70 (out of 100) the game sorta starts to get a bit slow, and slower and slower.
You can pay for bonuses in the game, sure, but they are not big bonuses. In fact, I can sell you my character, he has a plot of land he has access to (he married a char that got banned, but since there was a second owner of the plot, he got the plot for him self)... The game is pretty funny, actually, it's easy to play and when you want to stop, you just do. It's pretty addictive so watch out.
The world is pretty original, I liked it a lot, the admins are actually gods there, what makes the game pretty funny, when administrators come to visit and everybody falls to their knees and prays. A lot of the people are very IC, very little OOC allowed in fact.
The adress was www.achaea.com :) Have fun. |

Guild Wars, but it's more of a CORPG than a true MMORPG. Nevertheless, it's HUGE and I made a lot of good friends there. You can now also travel between servers from all different countries with consummate ease, so you can meet anyone who plays Guild Wars, and the PvP is fairly satisfying: indeed, the PvP IS the end-game.
Free to play after you buy the games and/or expansion packs. |

CoH/CoV is good but very shallow. I play it (Triumph server) when I want something utterly meaningless to do.
The PVE is engaging, though the PVP is a pile of ridiculous crap, poorly balanced, and works entirely differently from PVE so you really need to spec your character for it, PLUS get all the stupid high-end level 50 only stuff in order to be any good. And if you're a corruptor/dominator/blaster/controller enjoy sucking against everyone anyway.
The game has a pathetically low death penalty (hardly any XP loss) and most of the people who play it are embarrasingly risk-averse. The developers haven't made any change, EVER, that made the game harder.
I gave it up about a year and a half ago and then took it up again a few months ago - when I left, my supergroup (Unholy Requiem) was the highest ranking SG on the server (and still is) - I came back and now even that group (which was self-described, and generally regarded, as the most hardcore villain group on the server) has gone to easy mode.
Pick it up if you want, but if my subscription weren't paid for me by a friend, I don't think I'd miss it that much. |

RFonline, incredible amount of grinding and pretty much a lack of good pve, but the pvp is awesome.
Once you get above lvl 20-24 you HAVE to pve in a pvp zone which is awesome, especially because if you die you have a pile of ****ed off friends chasing the enemy off and can cause some very awesome pvp.
The races are rather balanced and there are also wars if you want to enter the blob scene.
Also, its almost completely free(you can buy things that help you lvl faster but thats about it). |

The games about getting to 50 and standing around showing off your costumes. Its very good for that though=P
You shouldn't expect a pve game to have good pvp, none ever has. I always just ignored pvp in CoX other than when i had to kill someone who was bugging me as i went through a pvp zone.

There're no good MMO's, subscription based, free or otherwise.
I recommend you go on private servers and don't play on any official ones as private ones are usually better than free MMO's, at least they ban cheaters. |

I still hold a candle to voyage century, it's the only other mmo iv'e tried/trialed that i enjoyed my time in.
Depends on your mindset i spose, the pace and setting was just me, everything from the music, pleasing enviroment, costume, and the wonders of exploring the world.
Very enjoyable, just keep igi, the item mall and all things related out of mind and enjoy the game while it lasts you.
Thats the only problem, while it lasts

You could try Runescape... the graphics aren't fantastic but it is written in Java (so should work on any computer that has a JRE).
There are free and paid for versions & the only advantage to a paid account ($5 a month) is access to more areas, equipment and skills - there are both PvP and PvE worlds to play on too. |

I just checked Runescape and the graphic has an overhaul as far as I can see. I look for something more solid. I play for many years EvE and need some other Online Game.
True, most free are crap or overloaded. I was thinking about Conan, it has good critics but I never saw it.
The problem with Guildwars is a ugly one: I live in thailand and I am not allowed to play on international server "because my IP is from Thailand". I can read some thai but hardly write. I am suprised that they not allow me to play with fellow "english speaking/writing members on international server..."
Crap, anyways, still looking for the next MMORPG á Curse Absolution Prorator T2 Mods/Drones/Ammo Manufacturer

Really good free MMO. Awesome graphics for a free game. They also have an option to subscribe that results in something like 30% xp acceleration and 20% increase in gold/loot drops. Oh yeah and it's a horror/medieval type theme so it has some interesting creatures to look at while your killing 'em.
edit - kept screwing up the link

Lineage isn't bad as long as you don't mind severe arm, shoulder and neck pains from the RSI you will get. Lineage is about spamming one button as fast as you can. It's not bad when you first start but after an hour you will feel the horrible pain this causes.

It may be that I'm completely oblivious, which is most likely the case, but I'm pretty sure that it's no longer in beta. I don't know the last time you played but the graphics seem pretty solid, no big issues that I can see.

Oh and its free, but has premium services if you pay.
