How much cargo is usally required for a level 4 hauling (courier) missions? I have done a buch of level 3 and they top out at around 1000 m3.
What about storyline. How much does a level 4 Storyline usally ask you to move?
Also I have been doing Archieve and got a few combat missions, does the accounting give you hauling exclusivly.

I have had storylines requiring 40.000 m¦, those mostly came from running other lvl 4s. But I don't realy run couriers, they are to tiresome for the payout. |

The "true" L4 Courier missions have you shipping stuff from 1500m3 up to 7000m3. Except for that annoying storyline mission, I haven't seen a higher cargo amount than 7000m3. |

I think there is something bigger than the 7000 mtr mission as I remember fitting my bestower with 3x expander II's for one courier mission. With 2 expander II's and only amarr industrial 1 trained my bestower carries over 8000 mtrs, other 2 lows with + agility so it alligns much quicker.
The lvl 4 storyline of haul 40,000 mtrs can be a pain. I have rejected it once as my bestower carries just under 14000 (4x expander II's) so its 4 trips. It would require my training industrial +2 lvls to fit more or to fit rigging (more expensive). The time I rejected was delivery 9 jumps away, of which 4 were low sec. In a slow hauler that would be asking for trouble. If its just 1 jump into low sec, can use a scout for the last jump - have done this before.

I've found mainly 1m3 cargo (fast inty) and 6000m3 cargo so thats a Itty5 fitted for speed.
A couple of storys have asked for around 8000 but that was easy to sort. I decline the mining missions especially the gas cloud one. The skill to be able to do it was 25 mill alone!

If you can go to zero zero... There is some L4 courier agents with 20 quality... Mostly like 2 jumps and blockade runner can haul them always. Great rewards with maxed out connection skills.

depends which agent division. some offer the smaller 1m3 style missions, others offer the bulkier stuff.
in general if the agent has reasonable number of combat missions then courier will be 1m3 or 3-6km3 (janitors, miners)
if the agent is mainly courier expect more consistent high volumes
