Hey!
Quick notes about Tech 3 ships that are about to be published on Singularity.
- All races will be using models intended for the Caldari Tech 3 ship
- Tech 3 materials are all on the market, but are placeholders to be finalized
- Stats on the subsystems are placeholders for now, only used for testing purposes to see if they actually work
- Only the electronic subsystems have bonuses assigned to them
- Updates to subsystem stats, effects and bonuses will be made frequently until release
A devblog or two will be published in the coming days, with more information about the tech 3 functionality.
I hope you'll enjoy seeing Tengu, Legion, Proteus and Loki develop before your eyes on Singularity.

Can you match the names to the races?

Please make sure you have Scene 2 enabled in your graphics settings. Many of the ships are still bubble/block outs. For the more finished ones please try the Caldari Tengu. |

Originally by: Halada Yeah but how will you get the unassembled ships on TQ???
Surely youll need build skills???
Don't be afraid, there will be plenty stuff to be build. It will be comparable to the T2 chain scale and complexity wise. Chronotis' blog will enlighten you soon.

Originally by: Tibberg Does anyone know if there will be skill bonuses associated with Tech 3 ships, like tech 1 and 2?
They seem pretty fail otherwise :s
Yes, the t3 subsystem skills will have an effect on the operation of the ship. The stats you are looking at now are the ones you get while unaffected by skills (ie, you have the t3 subsystem skills at 0).
The ships get better :)
Nozh will have more to say on this.

Originally by: Aynen I've been putting some tech 3 ships together of the Gallente variety, and I've noticed that the modules of the different series don't visually connect together quite as seemlessly as their Caldari counterpart. Texture use and shape-style vary too greatly, making it appear a bit too much like 'patchwork'. Not that the design is outright bad, but with certain combinations atleast a bit awkward. Does anyone share this opinion with me, or is it just me who thinks so?
If you could point out some combinations or better write a BR with screenshots, I'd forward it to the art guys. Polish will be going on till release, so there might still be minor artifacts and glitches.

That speed is not legitimate.
Bouncing ships gives you a speed that is not caused by the fittings.
That issue you are seeing there is not caused by t3 ships, but by the physics engine of eve - please bug report that.
