Does he have a computer built in the early 90s or something? The cheap-ass computer I built over 7 years ago had a shader model 2 card. Does he still have a black and white television too?

This. FFS If you can only afford to run graphics set in the early part of this decade then how the hell do you afford to play eve?
And no gtc's are not the answer as no-one can really play properly with prices like those atm.. |

nifty  I get off of work at 0800 monday morning. I am looking forward to this new expansion specially toying with the new goodies on Sisi...... Also CCP Mephysto I was in the Gal fleet and I got booted off then I couldn't sign back in due to ISP Issues (Which had my internets down all day  ) I was looking forward to getting WTFBBQPWNED

yeah well I look forward to being able to test, but don't expect to be able to till monday night as a 1.2gig download might take a bit to get and patch

Maybe you should consider upgrading from a 56k modem. If you get broadband, it takes about 15-20 min max.

SiSi seems to be doing something now. Unfortunately it requires a patch (onviously) which I'm having problems with. It won't download automatically and I cant find the correct test server patch. I'm now at build 73201, any ideas how to get it up to 77718?
Ouch! Nevermind, I just noticed they released a new TQ2SiSi patch. 1GB ...gonna take a while for me.

iam joking ... but beware, its nearly 1gig big .. but as above from ccp Mephysto mentioned, be prepare to remove it if necessary ... hopefully ccp do not decide to put up another patch online
