He made a comparison about (now) Ken and the rest of EVE - back in 2006 BoB really were something special - not anymore. Whether that is because the rest of EVE has caught up or because BoB has become worse, I couldn't tell you. Anyone can say that, it doesn't make it arrogance.

Bob used these advantages really well no doubt but they used them like bullies and kinda fooled them selves into thinking that they where the best. Then they lost titans, space and now their very name to the worst in eve (goonswarm).

I don't believe they give a damn about what people think of them or whether people talk about them which makes them a lot more fun (even if they suck at being an alliance). But if it makes you feel better, yes Thol was right but it's ok...people are still talking about you which is all that matters right? It's been said before, the playing field moved dramatically in the level direction when invention came along and everyone was suddenly in T2 fitted ships (except Exe, they caught up at the end of 2008) which is around the time BoB suddenly weren't so great anymore. I see absolutely no reason at all to keep the likes of RUR, AXE etc blue. Coranor and Thol aren't certainly out there to please the crowds but at least they seem to have realized what's the problem.

Isn't the object of pvp to get a fight, we got one and took most of the top 10 alliances at the time in our door step and kicked some ass. Not bad for a 'BoB were so 2006' alliance ;) And I think any of the opposing alliances who relished any bit of PVP loved it too. Bring it on again I say

Let us remember what happened once their precious Titans got nerfed and their enormous isk advantages went away because it has pretty much been all down hill from there. Thus backing up the fact that the only thing that ever made them "better" or even "good" at this game, was the advantages they had early on. TIME LINE -Pre Titan nerf, owns everyone, constant DDs with out even having Titans on grid, POS spams to take systems because no one can afford to compete with it -Titans get nerfed* -Loses regions -> gets pushed back to Delve -Hold Delve thanks to Cyno jammers protected by Titans and failed coordination from the enemy. -Picks fights in the north losing record numbers of caps and multiple Titans. -Leaves North after accomplishing nothing, to go after goons again, makes no real advancing acheivments yet again -Back to trying to save Delve....
