Yes, BDCI is currently under contract against EV. As a former member of EV (I started there) I can say that the membership, while depleted, is still a good bunch of people and the old spirit is still alive and well. N'Fran is as fine a CEO as anyone in the game could wish for. Even when at war, EV's pilots are respectful in local. Don't apply to this corp if smacktalking is your thing. EV is going through some re-birthing pains at the moment (my corp and the Sharks being rather annoying ones I imagine), but I'm pretty sure they will get through it all just as they always have.
