The only thing we need in EVE 2 would be FPS part. You camp the station, the guy wont undock, so you dock, and start chasing him =)

Though I too would like to see a good Elite 4 come out. I suspect that it is something we might well be very disapointed with. Us older gamers all tend to get all misty eyed and gooey over our memories of Elite. But perhaps that's where it should stay now, as a memory, so that us 'old farts' can keep saying "well in my day when we played Elite...." If we are honest with ourselves Elite was actually a very basic game, but it had the benifit of being the first space trading/combat game out and set the standard for everybody else to follow. I just feel that now any Elite game would be playing catch-up with Eve and other like games, and would need something so inovativally different that is simply would not be the same game.

How much? And, most importantly, does using virtual money constitute profiting from copyright material. (why am i even asking this question )

I think this does violate the ULA, but it may be argued, maybe? Just tell ccp that you are buying it as a part of your EVE experience as in flight entertainment. And is therefore a commodity to be traded in EVE so the exchange of isk for it is perfectly legit.
