Then I joined NC and fought with them (just left NC a week ago). IRON don't even know how to gatecamp, they just run away when more than 1 person jumps through a gate leaving the non-IRON guys to die. IRON I have no idea how you would hold sovereignty on your own.

Here are a few tips to help you in your quest for exciting game content against your chosen opponents, IRON. - Camping null-sec entry points does not affect the core members of an alliance. Their casual logistics uses capitals and freighters to avoid gatecamps. Serious movements will be scouted and the camp cleared first. You are harvesting noobs, and no one cares. Have fun. - If you REALLY want their attention you have to do something they WILL care about. Try dropping a POS in one of their station systems, or shoot one of THEIR POS. Possibly find a station they live in and bubble the entrance - that should get a reaction - eventually. They are territorial alliances, and all they care about the territory for is the moons and the stations and very possibly a few agents. Hope this helps, and once again, welcome to EVE.

IRON doesn't hold sov on its own, which is the entire point. A fair few of their buddies do all the protection for them, so they don't have to do anything but sell the minerals from whatever stations they have. I'm just glad my prediction of them losing deklein for the 3rd time came true. Was rather entertaining to watch it happen.

I think it's funny how many of IRUNs friends are coming here to post for them, attempting to explain away their failure at actually living in 0.0. I say living because they don't actually own the space, it is insured through their NC friends and the fact is they wouldn't have anything besides a slice of Jita if they didn't hide behind RZR/MMs leg. Just sayin'.
