Gonna try solo gate camping in an Ishtar in a 0.4 system.
I can use T2 med/heavy drones.
Sentry drone only T1's so far.
Never tried this before so I need some setup and tactics advice.
Also will an Ishtar be able to tank the sentry guns? For how long? |

Drone boats aren't really the best choice for engaging under sentries, your drones get popped and you're DPS disappears. |

Myrmi might be ok but issue with drones comes up again. Brutix has more turret damage so maybe try that. If you fail at least it¦s cheap. :)
Another one you might want to try is phobos. In general solo camping is lot harder now though. |

a myrm can do well you just have to lock your drones and rep them and id suggest using sents but having said that you cant move.
a phobos is good but lacks dps i guess you can keep it there for ever.
a rail brutix can do well but has issues tanking for a while.
a hype imo is the best gal gate camper |

You can use sentry drones to snipe over 100k, that would be best i believe. I used to gate camp in a deimos, Plated with ELECTRONs. Worked well with mwd incase you got into trouble.

As mentioned above drones and gate guns don't mix well, and unless you plan to specifically target haulers solo gate camping is generally not a bright idea either.
