also what is the second song please need to know!
This would have killed me quicker, i cap out as it is with everything running with max skillz in under 2 1/2 mins, so Overloading would only be needed if i was taking far to much alpha early on and needed the 15% extra Rep (while is still had cap), which i didnt as i was holding the DPS fine. I ran out of cap pure and simple. In hindsight i should have started looting the wrecks for cap boosters, im juist a ****** and it didnt hit me during the fight... Live and learn :) (this isn't flaming btw) |

I'm really surprised by your opponent's determination to kill you, using that many ships when the fight is going that horribly....that Sin...wow...
Still one quote from that which I thought was kind of illuminating regarding the skill of their opponents: "The falcon has me webbed and scrammed."
Really? Really? You put a falcon into weapons range of a Navy Megathron? Brilliant.
1. In Hinesight the Self Destruct thing probably was a bit lame upon reflect, as was the fact i didnt loot ****in cap Boosters from the wreck! (Caught up in the moment i guess with FC'ing and all) 2. The Falcon tactic SK Rooster Uses is brilliant.. as long as you've not seen it before. They heavy buffer/shield tank alot of thier ships to throw your primaries off in a fight. If you check my KB you will see that the fit has both Cov-ops and Cap Cyno. They usually bring a cap through to hold the falcon, hence why when i saw his alt i wanted out. 3. Props that No Trademark didnt blob tbh! 4. GF regardless of the Self destruct as it never actually went off anyway and yes i did get my loot when my guys cleared the field! 5. Still WTB Navy Mega!! 6. Can i Has U'r Stuff? 7 Yarrrrrrrrr!

ALL respect gone for a simple self destruct? but your good with everything else? LOL! If they cant kill me in under 2 mins with that amount of firepower its there problem!
That's not balls, that's isk/money.
The cheapest clones I fly when I PvP in frigs is still closer to 200mil. I usually don't fly frigs tho, I think the average ship I PvP in is a t2 ship with mix of t2/faction mods, can't think of a single one that cost less than 200mil. A Navy BS is just slightly over 200mil today. I got a couple of Nighmare, Paladin, Redeemers etc that I air frequent. Right now I'm scheming on a new little PvP idea I have that involves a 2man team with deadspace fitted faction ships.
But as I said, that is just isk/money. Balls, that is when you accept defeat and give your opponents respect, even when you don't like him.
If you can replace that navy mega for 200mil, do so I'll take 10 of them off your hands for say 250 each.
Me too :) WTB NAVY MEGA! |

all this listening to him on vent, i called sin down about 3 mins before he died. kept telling him "dock up dock up" silly me, rooster will suicide a dread for a navy mega kill... don't believe me, try it
Yes, i love how Rooster is taking sole credit for the destruction of the navy mega! it quite clearly had absolutely nothing to do with the other 16 ships that went down trying to kill me >.< |

Edited by: ForU2nV on 11/02/2009 13:23:43 Hmm i thought this was more of a 'Lets share a very good fight with the eve community, so they can enjoy watching it almost as much as we did fighting it thread'??? Not a 'Look i me while you still can before my head explode thread!!!'
Or we can continue hijacking a thread thats 'part' purpose was to promote a good fight that was enjoyed by all that took part.
If you want i can start a thread for people who believe that they constantly have to boost thier own ego's as they are very insecure in RL! I would call such a Thread 'My Names SK Rooster.. I am a self confessed WTF PAWN champion at an internet spaceship game! My life is now complete, oh wait i forgot to end these sentence's with "gg"'
Edit: i think this gg stands for 'got ganked!'

last time bout 2.5 bs on our side died in the time it took to blow up the damn ****tanked falcon
rooster might be a smacky bastardo (not meant offensive) but he and most of his mates very well know their biznez and at least half of the ppl here should better be quiet and hide in a corner instead of throwning words like fail at him. hes always up for some surprise sex afaik.
for me it was a fun fight and i really dont want all that forum crap spoiling that for me so ill retreat from that thread and go back to playing the game instead of spending my time on the forums reading stuff from other ppl complaining bout how other ppl play the damn game....
Credit where its due Cecile. I enjoyed watching the fight. Nice damage on the Astarte. From what i saw you fullfilled your role as wingman for the Navy Mega pilot very well. Good flying dude.
He certainly did, Thanks for all the friendly mails in game guys i'm glad toy enjoyed watching the video.
Previous poster: i expected a Capital to come though a second cyno, so i wanted to put as much distance between my gang and it as possible.. just so happened rooster had hardly anyone online at the time. If i had known this, i would never of done that and would have gone right for the falcon instead of the tactic i employed, but its easy to say what you would do in that fight knowing how it unfolded or ended. At the time things looked very different. I called the cyno before it went up, i just got the support/backup wrong.

Serious Shield Tanking tackler Falcon? Mega with Med Rails? Stabbed Rail/Blaster Brutix? Ishtars with a AB and a 4 Cap Rechargers? Stabbed active tanking Drakes? Cap Recharger fitted Curse with AB and without Tracking Disruptors? Navy Mega, Electrons, 3x EANM, Plate, Rep Rigs, Dualrepp, 1x MFS, wtf???
I fail to see how the mega was a wacky fit? Its actually quiet standard for a duel rep fit on budget. of course there is the plated version with 300k effective HP with slaves but to say its wacky? How would you fit it?

Check my Loosemails.
Plated Neutron Mega or Active Tank with Hardners are the most prefered solutions today for some preaty simple reasons, the ship might have survived this fight in this layouts.
I dont usually flame on the forums, but you sir, lick windows! (IG obviously)
