indeed it is sir, the friendly ccp staff has made the option available under forums and settings where you can check or uncheck the "show signatures" option.
ninjaedit: particular signatures probably requires some sort of script like the caod cleaner one, you're most welcome to make one if you have the determination to do so.
on a sidenote since they're performing website upgrades, i'll take the opportunity to recommend that it would be a neat idea to incorporate the caod cleaner jscript into the website as an account option to show or hide characters you find offensive or do not wish to communicate with.. it would swiftly solve a lot of trolling/harsh communiqTs between people on the forum, and make the forum moderation job easier aswell.
and naturally i welcome anyone who don't like me very much to "hide" me aswell, fair is fair.
