Could you tell the onboard scanner to bring the +/- from the left side of UI with him when he heads home from that vacation?
I miss my +/-.

Edited by: b''haal on 09/02/2009 18:49:30 ah thank you casquade,
for the longest while, i have enjoyed the aspect of clearing cosmic anomolies, first from high sec space, and now i'm goign into lowsec and plan on going further.
with the onboard scanner built in, i have the ability to find them without compromising a loadout that is fit for such regions.
my fear is if it venture into lowsec and further out, my highslots are going to be ate up by cloak unit, salvage unit, and new a core probe launcher come expansion. leaving little precious to fit enough dps against the rats out there

Which one, onboard scanner or the map zoom?
Onboard scanner because I am in FW and the new probing system, while fun and effective will reduce FW plex scanning to a crawl and destroy everything not involving camping gates or stations.
The +/- are damn handy to use. Have F# key to open map and then manually switching to system or star map is not as efficient as clicking the "-" and always getting system map and then starmap by second click.
I suppose it's something I have become used to running FW, finding optimal scan spots and such.

The on-board scanner is wonderful. In fact I would request allowing for it to plainly tell you, no bull****, if there is something at all in the current system.
so jump to system, turn on scanner. See nothing is is anywhere at all, save time using probes for no reason.
In FW (don't forget about us damn it ) The on-bpard scanner allows for all ships in fleet to scan for plexes.
Also wasn't the on-bord scaner going to to be the window to moving asteroid belts to exploration?
let all ships be explorers, just not very good ones, that can can find the haystack. Now as for the needle...

wait or did you mean the plus and minus? In that case just replace them with something else :) little buttons, I don't know where but somewhere... Some kind of map revamp :)
but yeah I agree with removing the big white things, ewwwww.
