we are mostly new players btw. i just want the advice of some of you fine gentlemen. these our are kill bored stats. some of the newer players have not posted losses but they are all t1 frigs and maybe about 30-40 of them
- 1,717,249,446 ISK / 581,772,862 ISK
have plenty of isk to pay for noobs ships, so what you think ?

Based on the ISK ratio, that seems ok if you guys only fly T1 ships. Or most of that ISK comes from a lucky freighter killed or something?

mostly noobs in t1 frigs/cruisers, a few of the older players in inties, BC, 1 BS was lost. to address the bolded part, we tried to fight an enemy that would barely move from the station and would not fight without falcons hovering around, 2x corps with 20+ members each all 2005/2006 players. personally i think we did well, they think they are winning based solely on having killed more ships, but those ships were mostly noobs in frigs , when we killed them its t2 every time, or even fleet stabbers. this may be a little cliche, but it is true.
If you had fun while fighting, then you win. KB stats are secondary. Take the current conflict in delve, I would rather keep our space, but if we lose it and have a blast doing so, I am happy.

It's funny how even in a thread entirely unrelated to the war, Kenny's Friends Club profess the whole "we didn't want that space anyway" concept. I guess that feeling of inevitability is getting to them... |

Do make sure you get your new players posting losses. It's a very good habit to get into, and helps them as much as it helps your corp. |

yes its unsurprising that people with terrible k/ds always try to make a joke of them.
frankly if your having fun... you are doing well anyway i spose... but k/ds definatly give a representation of where you are in eve. to be blunt: everything is a cometition. and there is usualy a matter of pride and such which i mean we dont always associate with computer games, but really why else are you playing.
i dont know many people who have loads of fun being terrible, theres usualy a correlation between being better at something and having more fun at doing it. not always... but most of the time. . MINIGIN! The original colour poster - now surrounding you in limegreen.

Meh, goons have fun losing tons of ****, and we have fun. And we own space, and soon to own Delve. Clogging your enemies' gun barrels with rifters does work, basically. So long as you can keep buying/building the rifters, I suppose.
So, yeah. Don't worry about KB stats, they really aren't indicative of fun or dominance. Examples abound.

Assuming you don't have a single ship kill such as a Freighter that makes up a huge amount of the isk killed, I would say that your side is winning. But not by much.
You're losing 4 T1 ships for every kill. Even if you had all frigs, this is high.
But it sounds to me like you're winning Eve. You're fighting above your skill level and holding your own, or at least not complaining about being outskilled. My hats off to you for that.

Stats in this game offer nothing but the odd bragging right. What counts in EVE is achieving your goals or stopping somone else from achieving theres.

Actually, let me put it into a more complete context. We are a new corp, we have about 250 members, all are recruited outside of eve. 4/250 have more than 2m sp,90% less than 1.5m, some of this characters are _days_ old. These guys war deced us, along with 2 other significantly more skilled corps. I do have the KB API locked, so that is all of our loses. they have been going around picking off people during the day who are just missioning etc. We are having fun, and that is what matters. The issues is the extreme level of smack talk coming from these way over skilled and over geared opponents.
Every kill is a pvp ship. 95% of kills are agaisnt T2 ships. with rigs. we have 2 pod kills as well, with about 200m isk on each one.
I consider us to be stomping them, tbh. The 500m on our side mainly came from one person who ended up getting a lot of lag, and then the other kill when they had a spy in the corp. (of course, this is all valid causes of death and we are not complaining about them.)
Anyway, cheers to CAOD, it's fun getting wardec'd on your 3rd day by 3 corps because they want "Practice" and you end up destroying over a billion isk belonging to them, most of it uninsurable.
P.S. if anyone from any of the corps decing us reads this, thanks for all the bounty isk.
Have fun everyone. NZ Director of Broski Enterprises. |

From a k/d ratio standpoint, you're losing. From a financially-based damage-inflicting standpoint, you're winning.
As others have said though, as long as you're having a good time, who cares.

Doesn't sound like you have a problem. I don't even look at my kills/losses anymore because it just makes me sad (i'm terrible at pvp). I just like to go and fight, losing a ship doesn't mean anything. ---------- The six paths and the four lives.... |
