See? This is where you have it all wrong. We can't steal something that doesn't belong to you.

Of course, the other way to fight against them is DON'T RUN IN CROWDED HUBS. Go for a slightly lower-quality agent. Or a less-common corp.

Where do you run missions? I could use all the tips I can get.
look on map and set stats to show number of active pilots, the hotspots that are not trade hubs are popular mission systems(most, not all),and ignore those who say busy systems are not worth missioning in,they are because so many are doing missions in it you have little chance of being ninja'd and lag is negligible

Unless they're taking salvage out of one of your cannisters or something, it's not salvage theft.
Someone salvaging wrecks of ships you blew up is not theft any more than spaceships are ponies. CCP has said that salvaging wrecks is legitimate and that you are, in fact, flying spaceships (they didn't say you weren't flying ponies, but unless someone can prove that something can be a spaceship and a pony at the same time, that means we're not flying on space ponies).

Just finish the mission and do another one. It's not that you are losing anything. The time you'd spend salvaging the mission you 'lost', you will invest in the next one effectively yielding the same ISK/h as if you'd salvage every mission.

If you really feel like taking a corpmate along to salvage stuff on-the-go, feel free to do it. just...don't...shoot...wrecks...
Or... You wait to shoot your wrecks just as the salvage thief gets to them. I always hum the benny hill theme to myself as they scurry from can to can only to have it pop right after they activate the salvager. Good times and tbh I should fraps it sometime when I have a taste for mission running in a hub. Was so effective at discouraging the poor little guys that I had several thieves simply warp away once they saw who was in the mission.

Originally by: Paul Morphy How many words can you type in the ransom demand before you get ****ted by concord?
Already mentioned I do this in low-sec, so I've never had that scenario as of yet.
Curious to test it in Empire to see how long it takes for CONCORD to actually respond.
Faster than you can type "give me your---*KABOOM*"...
