Personally I always found this feature a real pain in the ass. lol
Directors and CEO's only I think plus it keeps down on the ole server traffic or give the ability to users to block spam mail. :)

I think it depends on the type of corp for PVP corps this feature is essential. There must be away to to turn it off for NPC corps and give the choice to the CEO of a corp whether to allow only directors or all corp members to send. That way its the choice of the player base and gets around the problems Traveller mentioned.

I think it depends on the type of corp for PVP corps this feature is essential. Maybe limit the number of eve-mails in an inbox, then create an archive function, whereby they are then stored on the local disk. This would surely lower the load on the server?
