I'm strapped for cash because of said wedding and she isn't too into big extravagant stuff. Any ideas for me or anyone else? (Hallmark holidays suck....) Stop, hammer time.

Never have had a GF during this part of the year. I have them before, I get them afterward but for some reason I can't keep em around when the holiday shows up. For this I also refuse to buy roses. Every time I do, even when it's for nothing in particular other than I felt like it, there's always a horrible break up within a week.

On the 15th, go to the chocolate store and buy the now on sale chocolate that's usually half off so you get her lots of it. I know buying a card that says 'I love you' can seem 'pointless' because you can say it for free but I kind of like the festive way of things too. I supose when you get older it becomes just another day...
