Can i get electronics 5 with a brand new char?
I can get engineering 5, but i can't figure out how to get elec 5.
Anybody know?

No you can't. The best you can get is 3 or 4. No instant cyno alts for you.

You can't start with Electronics V.
This is well known by people who create cyno alts. If that is your intention, the fastest way is just under 7 days with an Achura and a couple, cheap implants.

I believe the answer is no, if I remember correctly you will only ever start with Electronics at level 4 at most.

so the next question is how long will it take to make a cyno alt after the new patch, with custom attributes etc. will it be faster or slower?
having 5/5/12/12/5 base points and double training speed will help for sure. but starting with less than 100k will hinder it. it may take alot longer, or it could be faster... anyone do the maths on this yet? |

Faster. 100 % training speed bonus up to 1.6 mil SP. Hell you can even do covert cyno capable alt or pos gunner under that time (altho it will still take long)

Faster and Better! You won't have all those extra skills, everything you'll need will fit into your basic clone, so you can have a cyno alt that never has to worry about getting podded and losing essential skills.
