I didn't give it a great deal of thought until a few days ago when i undocked right on top of a kestrel belonging to a corp we were at war with. After a brief catfight (i was also in a kestrel) we both ended up in our pods, though I reckon I shaded it as my rival had a couple of mill of tech 2 gear destroyed in the fight.
It's given me a huge taste for PvP by the way, and I finish training all the skills I need for a caracal with heavy missiles tomorrow
But I needed to back thieving, which is after all how I make a living and didn't fancy being in a war with just my trusty old Bestower to protect me. So I'm back in an NPC corp for now, but once I fit the Caracal out some of my old enemies will get their chance to kill me ( If I don't get them first)

Originally by: Riddari Now I have no idea who this Tenaj is nor have I seen her around, however as she is an ore thief and proud of it, and thinks undocking in her Caracal will make her enemies sweat...
might I suggest to her enemies that they fit some electronic warfare stuff, making her inable to warp (scrambler), to move (webifier) and lock (destabilizers) and for good measure, equip themselves with defenders (against FOF missiles).
This will result in Tenaj getting a taste of her own medicine as she sits watching her ship go down without *being able to do a damn thing about it*, not even able to fire a shot (bar the FOFs).
Poetic justice me thinks
Remind me again, what's the range of scramblers, webbifiers, destabilisers? Hmmmmm.....The range of heavy missiles?

Tenja, be aware that you have a multitude of brothers and sisters in the game who honor your service to our way of life.
Like I said before, there needs to be a corp established in the game based strictly on ore thievery.
Thank you. Come and talk in TOOKURSTUFF some time . We had a group thieving night last week which was a lot of fun, but making a formal corp could be.....erm......Challenging.

Damn I'm sorry, my mistake. I thought ore thieves being Criminals and people discussing how they could be punished might belong in the......erm.....Crime and Punishment forum?? No, that can't be right can it.

Originally by: meowcat 3 members of my previous corp (all < 1 month old) had ore re-appropriated by this 'person'
They learned a valuable early lesson without losing too much ore then didn't they? It always makes me laugh when I come across experienced players training new corp members to jet can mine.
They teach them to mine for bloody hours into a jet can and then slowly amble off to fetch their indy without a care in the world, all the while remarking about how much smarter thay are than those stupid mugs using those dumb secure containers. They come back to find I've taken the ore, get all indignant and accuse ME of driving new players out of the game.
As far as i'm concerned they are as much a victim of the misguided advice they receive from those in their corp who should know better as they a victim of me.

Originally by: MadGaz Too afraid to lose your ship so your hiding in a newbie corp?? I really hope CCP make a limit on how long people can stay in newbie corps.
That one always makes me laugh. I fail to see where fear comes into it, just plain common sense. Why would I want to expose myself to risk simply because people want to have a shot at me? It's like asking a house burglar to at least have the decency to make some noise so you have a chance of catching him.
