I remember over a year ago me and a corp m8 (yea I'm the dreaded alt) looked up how long we had played eve on our characters, or rather, been logged in (doesant mean we were there the entire time, some of it was afk  ).
But I cannot remember how to do this.... and several searches on google and the forum search are bringing up nothing, so, thoughts?
It showed total hours logged in or something, from what I remember.

Take character's lifespan in days, multiply by 23. Subtract roughly... 240-320 hours due to patches and computer/connection issues.

what do you call playing because to some it is chatting with friends and trading so they never leave station or to some it is different things and they do many more shooting
it is hard to say
Also, I believe that you should join Rancer Defence Force. It's cool. |

I mean, total time logged onto your character/account. That counts afking, sitting in stations spinning your ship, chatting, it counts EVERY SECOND logged onto the account, from what I remember I saw back then.
Just curious what insane number I'm up to now.

You CAN do this. You gotta use the LogServer.exe somehow.

I'm pretty sure that no longer works. Am also not sure if it ever worked across multiple installations or anything.

Last thing I heard was indeed that it works, however! if you have a corp title that is like longer than 10 chars or something the text gets cut right there and the time is not displayed as logserver only shows the first line with info and the corp title making the value end up on the second line (thus not shown).
And it is per account so no problem checking all your accounts.
Just checked mine and I've been logged on for 724538 minutes, so 503d 3h 38m, which makes an average playtime of 5h 43m 52s per day

The line you are looking for comes 2-3 rows below that one, it has a green circle thingy and is mostly plaintext.
The value is after a "true" or "false" statement, which is the petitionMessage value.
Usually it's like constellationID eg 10000022, false/true, LOGONMINUTES, false/true, false/true

Total time depends on how much girl aggro you get, and/or work you gotta do before gaming. People could be afk for ages, but it's not so new that they may be foolin around at the keyboard. Anyways, go to sisi, and blow practice ships up, at no cost. STFU and GOOOOO~~~~~~!!!!!!!

Okay I loaded up the log server, and logged in on my main, but it showed nothing, nothing happened....
What do I do? I'll keep toying with it and see what I can find while waiting replies.

Did you use File > New workspace in logserver before opening eve?
128 days logged in apparently.
Leaves me with the "I should have so much more isk by now" feeling.
EVE is backgrounded quite often though. No, really... honest.
