Aye, Prot is sexy, and with the new armor/shield repping animations, they're even sexier.
I hope the new rep animations are gonna be on all ships, not just the T3 ones, anyone know about that?

I like the black panels on there...that and the fact every part looks like it has some functionality and the ship is..."whole" (no wings or useless crap in space) makes it look like a REAL spaceship.
I made it smaller for you Navigater...My name is in it. That's the minimum required for a sig if I remember correctly |

The "Handle" needs to be removed from it, otherwise the ship is very slick indeed.

Although the Myrmidon is still the best-looking Gallente ship in my estimation, I have to say I really like this Proteus configuration. Can we get some shots of other configs?

I anticipate numerous petitions, approximately reading: Dear GM, how do I replace the pollen filter correctly?
Not that I'm really complaining, as it is nice to see Gallente (and indeed most of the races, though I'm yet to see the Minmatar offering) moving away from flying tumours and towards symmetry.

Seriously, they have to dip it into that greenish oil paint.
Other than that, I count 7 turret slots as well; and IIRC the 5th def-subsys has 100 m3 dronebay... A sick combination of the Deimos and Ishtar comes to mind :P

Yeah... what do the other modules look like?
I'm really torn between Gallente and Amarr.
Sadly, I'm one for looks and symmetry. And while Minmatar look like scrap metal, Caldari look like LEGOs, Gallente look like cancerous tumors, Amarr are the only symmetrical and "spaceship" looking race.
But this doesn't look half bad.

Sexy look aside they die in a flash to bs weapons as soon as they turn on the mwd 5000ms+ top speed or not. I think even dread weapons can track them then. This seems to be true for all of them no matter what combination of parts they use.

I see where they are going with it. It definitely borrows heavily from the Vexor aesthetic, the nearly perfectly symetrical ship with the heavily specular-mapped plating. Somehow, the way it is mirrored though, it feels more 2-d than the other ships. The crease down the midline feels really weak to me, I'm not sure.
I'm still very impressed how they managed to section a gallente ship, I knew it was no coincidence the first T3 ships to come out were the caldari, and second were the minmattar. Those races are designed for bits like this, gallente not so much. This is still a fairly good looking ship, but i'd like to see a midsection without a handle (If i saw correctly, there are two midsections represented here, both with a handle bit).
